I just LOVE Clannad! But I did wish Tomoya ended up with anyone else but Nagisa. For some reason, I just disliked her. Kotomi-chan was so cute

Most of the fans think that the "After Story" is the main part of the CLANNAD, and it is the most important part in the game.

I love Clannad. I also didn't like Nagisa as much as I did with Kotomi. Then after her is Ryou then Kyou... AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL characters ;)

I double that,Nagisa aren't bad at all,actually I'll be surprised to find that kind of innocent girl in this world,I don't think a girl that pure really exist,and if such girl do exist and are near,I'll protect her,with my life it that is what if takes.

Now,back to topic.I only wish the 2nd season ending will be a happy one,like the 1st.But since I have played the game,it sometimes makes me shiver to think about the ending...Hope Kyo-Ani won't take the "bad" route...

I really hate the endings, there is too much, they should make one good one and stick with it. the first ending i find not good at all, then they came out with new ending that still wasnt that good, and now season 2 comes out that picks up in the middle of the first season.

The story have never truly ends in Season 1.In the movie,the ending are from the video game if you fail to do certain things(Bad Ending).And now I just hope the season 2 ending will be the ending when you play the game successfully(Good ending)

Actually, it's just a part of the first turn of the "after story", the first turn doesn't stop until ushio has died. The first turn is considered as the beginning of the all CLANNAD stories by somebodies. Without the first turn, we will never see the stories which we have seen in the "new game". If you doesn't seen the first turn, you will just think the final ture ending is a normal one which can't touch you too much, but how difficult has been overcome before...
"after story" must has three turns to reach the true ending at least. All the stories in the CLANNAD can be seen as the stories in the different worlds(with the same characters, but with different chances).

BTW, I consider the movie is a doujin version. There are some better ends with the characters in it. Nagisa has died which also make me sad, however, I think it just a way to try to touch the audience. Let's take it into account that CLANNAD is too hard to be revised into 90mins, so the movie successes in its own way.

Nevertheless I do not want Clannad(Anime) to end with any of Nagisa,Ushio or Tomoya being dead,which is why I constantly refuse to peoples who said the movie is the "real ending".
