Just a heads-up that EP12 is out.
EDIT: HOLY FREAKING HELL! This episode nearly made me piss my pants! I'm still choked up...and...DAMN...also apparently wet since I did piss myself.
This episode is a screen cap bonanza! The producers seemed to set up the camera scenes with pauses in just the right place to do screen capture.
The overall anime, choreography, action, and Sturm un Drang of the characters reaches overdrive. Clare produces far more facial expression and even gets sexy. damn that Raki...He better GET THE FAWK AWAY! Clare is mine.
On a plus side, the Raki haters will enjoy one scene.
This anime is rockin' my socks!

Wow, I find this anime really cool. So far, the episodes are getting better.
Another nice thing about this show is the art. It's good and I also love the fight scenes!

I really liked episode 12, especially Ophelia's "game". The preview for the next episode made me thinking that we might see Irene again (I still doubt that she's really dead). Remember the sentence "a warrior from the past" in the preview?

I saw EP 1 last night, and it was good. damn awesome ending song lured me into walling Clare. >_> It is quite addictive, I really like how the characters' emotions run, plus the first ep was satisfyingly bloody. They also managed to stuff in some backstory, which may or may not be a bad thing depending on how long this anime is going to be. (Long season+ immediate backstory= bad D: )

Claymore has plenty of other genres besides fantasy. There's drama, action, and an unbelievable amount of character development. At least watch till episode 6 and watch chibi-Clare's speech or to the end of the Teresa arc, that was what convinced me to continue with watching Claymore and inspired me to write this anime discussion thread.

For any people who are 50/50 about this series, hang around through Ep11, and then prepare to be punched in the face with Ep12. This is one of the best directed anime episodes I've ever seen.
Yeah, I can become a slobbering zealot about a good anime series (ie: Black Lagoon), and Claymore has me drooling all over myself. Last night, I watched Ep12 again with my wife, and I just sat there all slack-jawed, staring at my TV. My wife, who prefers "cutesy" anime, said, "Damn! This is good! I should of watched the series." I told her that's my excuse to watch it all again.
For some reason, I can see Clare humming AC/DC's classic hit, "If you want blood, you got it."

she will survive but she probably wont be in the best of shapes afterwards.
in 13 well will probably see more of clares true strenght (as people may have noticed in a few of the previous eps)
Think it will be interesting when we get to meet the number 1 claymore ^^

Nearly the only reason i started watching this series was cause there was chicks with big swords. When I watched the first 2 MINUTES from 1st episodes I was like "Wow. This has to be realy good show." Now I have watched 12 episodes and I wait realy much for next episode.
There are a lot good things in the show but first minus would come from drawing style. At the first sight I didn't like it but now I think it fits realy well to show. I read somewhere that there was going to come 24 or 26 episodes but i hope there will come anothre season or lots of OVAs.
Realy good serie and I suggest this serie to everyone who likes "demons" and chicks with swords.
