yes, Ophelia's one crazy woman but don't forget that Clare is the heroine. For the heroine to die in the middle of a series is like... doh, impossible. She appears on way too many of the manga covers to die in a flash.

Episode 12 was pretty good in my opinion and was everything I expected except for.....

The infamous kiss. That was such a shocker and I tried to see it in a romantic way, but that just couldn't happen. My jaw dropped because I've always thought the relationship between Clare and Raki was non-biologically fraternal, but now I'm a little confused. First of all, that look she gave Raki is not something you give to your brother. There's also the matter of age. Oh well, like they say, love has no boundaries.

Now onto Ophelia's case, she is such a psychopath. What I don't understand is why those men in black do not keep an eye on her the way they watched Teresa. Also, just because Clare passed her limits doesn't make her a fully awakened Claymore with an insatiable craving for guts. Ophelia is more of a monster than Clare could ever be, even as a Claymore, since she has the cruel sadistic type of personality that tortures humans and partially awoken Claymores.

There are a lot good things in the show but first minus would come from drawing style. At the first sight I didn't like it but now I think it fits realy well to show. I read somewhere that there was going to come 24 or 26 episodes but i hope there will come anothre season or lots of OVAs.

I don't think she looked like a hooker, but instead, she seemed to evolve on the spot to something more frightening and violent. Her actions imply the analogous physical relationship between sexual desire and violence. She ain't just thirsty for blood! But I'm gonna kill that Raki--I WANT CLARE! She's my type!

and hmm, a bit of a plot hole there, Ophelia should have been more closely watched... but then Claymore has its twists, and I'm eager for more :3 Clare is such a refreshingly interesting and unpredictable character

If you where Opehlia's "guy in black", would you really pay close attention to her? You might end up in one of her "games" if she's in a bad mood. I got the feeling she would happily chop his head of and report him in al collateral damage.

Irene's back and Clare's going to learn the flash sword technique, won't that be interesting. It doesn't end there, psychotic Opehlia's awakened and it seems that she's also a Priscilla victim like Clare. She was so blinded by anger, she went over her limit after Irene defeated her. I can't wait for next week's epsiode.

Ok, Clare getting half her armed chopped off and destroyed didn't make me happy--I don't mind my hotass anime action chicks taking a beating, but I want them mostly intact. I hope she grows her arm back or gets some pseudo-mechanical device. Either one would be acceptable along the plot line since Clare is different than the other Claymores. Ophelia is crazy as a loon, but she's psychotic sexy.

Be a little patient with the plot, not everything can always be revealed in one episode. Clare's arm problem will be solved in the near future, so nothing to worry about there.

Irene will donate her own and last right arm to Clare. Isn't that gracious of her, yet very painful.

The anime is following the manga exactly, I think the anime is going to pass the manga sometimes soon, I wonder what their going to do? Fillers? That would suck! Like in D-Gray man, right now it's mostly fillers, since the manga is so slow. The anime is awsome so far, but sucks to be me, I've already read up to volume 11, so I know what's going to happen. I'm pretty sure there are 12 volumes out so far, and the anime is about at volume 7 of the manga.

This is a gory anime, since you see a lot of blood and a lot of heads and body parts getting sliced, still an interesting anime to watch.^_^

what... so all of them have tragic pasts... I am a little disappointed though that it was easy to guess Ophelia would go berserk like that... once they start talking to themselves the end is near >_<

I am very happy then that I haven't read much of the manga I am letting the anime run for a bit before I pick up volume 3. Maybe it's cheap, to like the animated version more... but Claymore's graphics and sound are definitely topnotch.
