And just like that, March is almost over already. next week we should get chapter 79!! it won't be as action intensive as 78 because i fully expect the plot to get developed. lots of talking with Galatea and Clare going, where's raki!!
IMO, Raki sucks. (and i'm sure many of you share this opinion too.) watching the anime just made it 10x worse because he was that much more annoying. Yagi, the mangaka said he wanted to make the manga 20+ volumes, and that thought just depresses me to no end because at the rate its going, 1 chapter a month, i'll be 30+ years old when it ends.. (i'm 19 now.)
but as long as the quality stays as it is, i'll be happy.

Yeah!! another month, another chapter of claymore that comes out. it'll make its way online tomorrow, then most likely wednesday we'll get a translation for it. its a shame that we'll be doing this for another 10+ years...

I cant wait. Its hard waiting for something that is read so fast. I was caught into the anime and then read all the way through the manga so fast it wasn't even funny.
1 chapter per month is waaaaaaaaay too slow.
I get so excited each new month solely for the purpose of reading a new Claymore chapter ^_^
Teresa's era is so far my favourite.

Ah... Claymore... it is one of my TOP 5 anime/manga right now. My fav characters being Teresa (who wouldn't like her...), Galatea, Flore (Gah... talk about sudden death... SIGH... of course... after what happened to Teresa... I guess claymore fans can take on anything... LOL) and Miria.
I zipped through the anime in 2 sittings and then found myself searching frantically for the manga... I have to agree... the manga is so MUCH better... but I'm starting to develope a hate for Clare now... she's way too cocky for my likings. And her saving Galatea and re-emphasizing her BOLD statement at the end didn't help.
btw, I'm still sortof a noob when it comes to searching for resources... can some kind soul PM (if the rules doesn't encourage posting such info in the forums... I'm new and had just glimpse through the rules... I'll read it in more detail later) me the sources for the latest translated claymore manga? Thanks. :)

Is the manga stories line same as Anime's?I feel like reading the manga but i prefer anime lolx...
The manga is the exact same as the anime until episode 21 or somewhere around that.
In my opinion, the anime writing staff ran out of ideas for the ending and the version they came up with was very disappointing.

Lets just say that with the release of 79, i'm incredibly disappointed with the direction the story could go. like Yagi basically widened the scope of the story to astronomical proportions. And with the amount of story that can be taken from the twist in 79, coupled with the time it takes to release each chapter, it could very well take over 10 years to finish the story. in which case, I'm seriously considering dropping the series.
no series, no matter how good, should be able to run a story that's that broad with monthly releases. its simply too slow and without a doubt, people will lose interest.

Claymore is a top manga! And you said it allready it's much better than the anime for sure!!
It's allway's the same so... Whoah hell iam getting crazy because of these monthly releases and yeah if claymore ends we will be old otakus :P
My fav char is Clare(just because she is the main char) than comes raki , Teresa , Mira, Priscilla(honestly... she ist SO CUTE) , Galathea , Flora(i liked her hair) and there are more but these are the important chars for me. Chapter 79 was crazy because the truth came out. For now i hope Raki will come back, i know he was a cry baby but remember 7 year passed by!! And dont forget the kiss ;)

This is a brilliant series, but one chapter a month is way too slow to satisfy anyone's cravings. I especially dislike monthly mangas because I tend to forget storylines and characters really fast. Ahhhh I can't wait for chapter 80! Come out already!
