Claymore's Ending
I...didn't like the ending. Which is a rather rare occurence in my course of watching anime. I haven't read the manga, by the way.
When Claymore ended, I went "That's it?" I get that there wasn't enough of the manga to give it a 'true' ending, but the show was good, don't tell me the ones working on it couldn't have come up with a better end than they presented? Things weren't tied up properly. The Northern Campaign is most likely to go on, since Isley and Priscilla are still running about, and Miria, Helen, Deneve and Clare seem as though they're going to just leave the others and go off on their own. While nothing like that was actually said, that's the impression I'm getting. I could be wrong, of course.
The rest of the show was awesome anyway.

I never really watched Claymore for real emotional depth, but for the fights. Yet, even in this superficial aspect the ending felt a little lacking. Claymore seemed to always have a little trouble with pacing their fights, although it improved at the end. I just don' really enjoy that whole anime bit where they go all super-powered and then come back due to the hugging tactic from some kind of dear individual to that respective character. The whole awakening and then being able to come back was a little bit cliche, but there's big opportunity for a second season.
I find the manga way better. The anime's ending weren't that good, I don't like the idea that Clare awaken, it takes the anticipation away from the manga. Also, is Clare's awaken form the "Real Form" as in, the creator of Claymore image of Clare's awaken form or is her awaken form just something to fill up the gaps? Either way the manga is way better

The ending sucked IMO. I hope they DO make a second season soon. But it seems the whole thing is based around Clare fighting Priscilla and as that gets left alone it seems it would end there but they say they have quite a journey ahead etc.

Nice introduction, nice development of story. But it all got screwed up when they decided to deviate from the original plot. What a pity. Didn't like the ending, the manga's better. A second season doesn't seem plausible, unless they can come up with something unique and interesting.

The ending sucked =[ and Raki is a whining wussy. Claire should have swung her claymore and cut through Raki and Priscilla at the same time. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME!

The whole series was awesome.. it could easily become one of my favorite, but the ending destroyed it...

I think the anime was alright, except for the ending of the season. In following the manga they would have done a much better job, but there's not much you can do about it since, if they were to follow the manga (which has such a slow release) they'd catch up too quickly and you'd have either filler (which many people would be angry with) or else they would branch off from the manga, which they did, and which would still make some people made. But at least this way they can try to write a better story, and if they can try to get back in line with manga to appease the masses.

Claymore ending seemed to follow the dbz plot of never ending growing of powers. seems like there is no end to their ability to surpass their previous power levels. i would liked to see battles with the easley or they could create a sequel to show the other 2 great powers.
On wikipedia it used to say that the series had been confirmed as going to have 52 episodes, though i cant find it anymore so maybe that was scrapped. I think the ending fight was a bit crap and rushed but it definately ended with the intention of a season 2, so i wouldnt really call it an ending at all. Il be annoyed if there isnt a season 2 though.
The ending of the anime simply sucked. Even if there would be a second season, after the last episodes of the 1st season I lost my faith in this series completely. I hope the manga won't turn out the same in the end.
I really appreciate the series but I was expecting more for the ending. The only one thing I can't understand is why Clare love someone like Raki??

I liked the ending, the aftermath felt a little to long and the final battle felt a wee bit short but all in all I liked this anime a lot. It may be because I didn't read the manga so when people say butchered I have no idea what they're talking about. I would love a second season and I hope they stray very far from the manga and make their own story.
I watched claymore full episode it was fan and the ending it great^^
