Claymore's Ending
I'll be fine with it as long as there's a second season. Because, it wasn't much of an ending was it?

Very Terrible decision from the anime to not follow the manga after episode 20
I mean it's going to be hard for them to even attempt a second season after all the changes and difference they made to it. Such a shame that they did such a awful thing to such a great anime.

It might be different form the manga but i still liked it very much
and theres a lot of stuff they can build 2nd season:
-normal battle between yoma and claymores
-battle between awakned claymores
-battle between claymores ad rogue claymores
its an all against all war and interesting stuff may happen, posibilities are endless!
ooo i cant wait for next season! ::daydreaming::

I did not like the ending for Claymore... at all. Personally i really wanted Clare to kill Priscilla Priscilla didn't die. I think the manga is way better.
I just finished this, and I haven't read the manga.
I suppose there are some problems with the pacing of the ending (the showdown with the lion guy was longer than the one with Priscilla, for instance), but given what they're working with people are probably being a little too critical. There's no way they couldn't include some kind of showdown at the end - if they'd just had them run away (people said thats what happens in the manga) and you only watched the anime you'd think it was even worse. What kind of ending is it if everyone just runs away?
Its a pretty obvious setup for a potential sequel whether or not there's actually any chance of one being made, since it seems like the real story should be about the rogue Claymores vs the Organization (since ultimately... the Organization is both causing the problems and solving them? I thought the entire thing was a little silly).
I will agree with the criticisms of Raki, watching the whole thing it felt like serious Shinji syndrome. I guess its pretty common in anime to make these guys totally spineless, but it does grate a bit.

I guess I could call it being satisfied for the ending, if they don't have a second season. How ever I am close to literally praying that they make a second season for I absolutely loved this anime.

The anime ending is not like a truly ending. It's a semi-ending, that will be concluded latter. I don't know if they will do a second season or they just wanted us to read the manga for the ending, I just can't help wishing for more from this great anime!! Even being a semi-ending, it was perfectly fit and it awed me till the last minute.

I have a feeling they are the "sucessful" male claymores. They are unlike the others, while most of them have the urge to awaken, it doesn't state in the anime or manga that all males eventually awaken. Some may have suceeded and earned the organization's trust.
At current, it seemed pretty sure that The Organization is holding the power flag in the east. Seeing that they too have Alicia and Beth, controlled abyssal ones making that avantage.
I am thinking it is possible that the Org is actually handled by Male Yomas to attend to the need of protecting humans (this being a surface reason, could be a fake agenda). Seeing what they are doing with Alicia and Beth gives me that suspicion.
Clarice (strangely I thought she was clare's daughter lol.) has so much human feature, judging by how she does not seem to be able to sense yoma, she could be some kinda cross breed of a cross breed, much like Clare, but weaker.
The anime seems to following the manga right now, which is very nice, as I hate it when animes go off on their own tangents and suck.
Claymores look better in the anime, I think, though I agree about the awakened beings looking better in the manga.
Eh...random thoughts at the moment...the newest Claymores aren't that impressive...sending the bulk of your warriors off to be killed = take what you can get, I guess. Clarice is the weakest, but she doesn't seem to have set aside her humanity like the rest of them have. Something I've always wondered is: who the hell are the guys in black? With the exception of Claire's handler, they look like yoma...

) and remenber that the manga story line it's little diferent but in the second season they return to that story and make raky go whit priscilla again =D

Wow, I didn't know there is going to be a second season, which means, I'll buy it the moment I see it! Muhihahahaha! ^o^. But currently, the first season just came out in my place, so I guess it would take some time for the second season. Thanks guys, it really was a good news to hear that there's a second season. ^-^.
Ok ok, the ending is quite nice. Since now that I know that there's a second season, it's actually perfect, and it leads on to continue in the second one. I was also thinking that Madhouse has a very big storyline here, since that the 3 Dwellers of The Deep hasn't been beaten yet, and also, we all still don't know the 3rd guy's looks yet. It's gonna be interesting, don't you think? I like the ending, and I am hoping that I have the patience to wait for s2.
Claymore, one of my favourite animes. ^-^.

Aw.......there's lots of waiting for the manga's chapters to be released eh? About one chapter for a few weeks...how long...........
Well, there is NO official confirmation that there will be a second season. Guesses as to whether a second season will exist fly everywhere from yes to no. Yes, because the ending was a cliffhanger, no because it deviated significantly from the original source. As for whether the ending was good or not? No, it was not in my opinion. It is not just a matter of not following the manga. It's a matter of nonsense. I ask how, oh how, in the name of god could Priscilla let Miria, Helen and Deneve survive. They were freaking number 6, 15 and 22. Yet, they were able to cut her wings and pose a threat. Let me remind you that in a matter of seconds, without any real effort, Priscilla seriously injured Ilena (number 2) and killed Noel/Sophia (number 3/4). Then we had Raki whining about saving the life of a freaking awakened being! Then we have Isley just standing there observing the battle with the other Awakened beings rather than finishing the rest of the claymores. And why in God's name did the awakened beings run away when Rigaldo came? It's also never explained WHY Isley attacked Pieta in the first place. These and other plot holes ruin an otherwise great anime
