Claymore's Ending
I didn't like this ending. As many people already said, I prefer the manga story. If it had an open ending, it could continue in OVA or something like that, then I would watch it, but if it is going to be a second season in witch there will be a lot of fillers, I'd never put it in my "will watch list".
I really thought the ending was bad, especially because nothing actually ended. No one died of any consequence and the Claymores really are back where they started. I really hope there is a second season made because I hear that the manga is actually pretty good. The anime definitely kept me into it, but the ending just disappointed me.
WEll sure, I think it was good. I am pretty sure the second season will someday come out, so in that sense the ending was good. I am just really glad they didn't leave off the season in the middle of a really intense battle.
I wonder, and I don't read manga so its not a spoiler, if maybe Raki will become the first male claymore able to control his abilities in the second season? That would be so cool.

Oooh the anime ending was sooo messed up in my opinion. but tbh. there coulden't be any other ending then that..
i realy hope for a 2nd season even tho the anime is at a point where it can't connect to the manga anymore>.< they yould maybe make a ova of the last 4 episodes and fix it so that they can connect to the manga again.

It took me by surprise when the anime started to deviate from the manga, but I thought the ending was fairly well done. It seemed a bit rushed and was a little unfulfilling, but I still enjoyed it.
If there is no second season then I agree it was pretty bad, but I really hope that isn't the case.

The problem is that the anime started too early.

Danzai no Hana is one of the best endings i ever heard.
It fits perfectly with the level of action an tension of the series.
The song is amazing and the video that is show, its the most wel made um this kind of series.
Tha apareance of the swords, all the reference to Teresa, and that petal are awesome.
Video.
Song.
Characters.
Editing.
All on this ending is huge, and done to be remembered for a long time.
Like the entire series.
One of the best series I have seened on 2007.

I saw the anime first, and I felt it ended suddenly so I went and read the manga, IMO the manga is much better, the story unfolds rather nicely, and is deeper then just the revenge spree Clare is on.
I'm not sure I liked the ending of the series. I mean, there was a complete lack of any sort of resolution. I mean, after all that hype, Prinsilla is still alive, and they hardly even got into Ealsey (forgive my spelling of their names, I'm still learning. XD ) That, and there are three other Dwellers of the Deep, one of which just seems to disappear from existence after letting Clare know Ealsey's name. And then there's the whole situation of the Organization and what they're actually all about. *raises an eyebrow*
But I guess that just opens up the way for a hopeful second season. I'd love to see the development of the rogue Claymores vs. the Organization and possibly other Yoma and Awakened Beings. *sighs* One can always wish. :) But now... To read the manga! (>.> Probably should have read that first, heh.)

It would have been a great ending, if there was a second season... Or even better an OVA.
YOU MUST READ THE MANGA! It's so much better than the anime. I like the anime but compared to the manga it sucks...a lot.yunasongstresshmm..i haven't read the manga so i can't really compare it but the ending to me seemed ok...not really outstanding
It was such an awsome anime, but the ending totally ruined it for me! TT_TT
