The ending was ok, but I would have much preferred if it stuck to the manga. Hopefully there is a second ending, but now the story is completely different since Raki is now back with Claire and the survivors in the anime ended up splitting up rather than stay up north for the next seven years.

One of the worst endings for any series, it's an open end.
She came all the way to kill of her enemy, and thus the most strongest awakened being, and she didn't, all because of that little human.
I mean if Claire would have killed Pricilla, then wow there would be a twist in anime / manga, and what pity do you have on the ones whom killed someone so dear to you, and knowing she is a demon, now never being able to become human?
I think the ending ruined the series.

I stated the volumes released in the market for sale is up till book 14.
Each book has about 4 chapters in general, sometimes more, sometimes less. It is not authentic to the bone, but generally, the quality is readable and likewise, no missing pages, all sound effects, all scenes where including multiple japanese letters as explanation, or side lines, are in original language untranslated. However, I certainly do not consider them cheap products, at least they are readable.

Think about this, months from now, you can finally obtain the english version, in book form, and I would have already had the chinese one, haha, possibly 2 months ahead of yours. Plus, I get it cheaper, and the book quality of the authentic versions are better if not just as good as the english, plus! I GET POSTERS! YAY!.

Colored pages are there too. All in good time, and now I am happy to read up till chapter 73. and yes, all the fast translated ones, (in book 14 so far) contains exactly up till chapter 73. So you are right when you say, it is not as good, but I have it in book form.
One thing for sure Teresa of faint smile is a monster herself without awakened can Killa awakened former rank 1 omg even the rosemary got scared out of her when teresa when all out to rosemary. and rapheal is not the stronger claymore bec. killing her older sis a absysmal one she just take the advantage and stab her sister on the back while so weak at that current state. as for clare she she'll awesome awakened her limbs and after 7 years she learn the wind cutter and no single claymore can use 2 different techniques. and it seem clare has done the soul link even without noticing and maybe the org knows already about it and that's why there scared of clare. about the new generation of claymore it seem they s*cked on fight probably low experience on fighting awakened being by the way the new rank 3 and 6 the one who tried to kill riful dam* they s*ck too being to pribe on themself to think they can kill riful hahahaha theyre even weak if the past clare fights them they wont stand a chance to clare to full of themself and got knock out in the end I hate those kind of attitude.

It all depends if there is a second season then i don't really mind but if they are gonna just finish it there then i really didn't like it because it just kind of left me hanging and didn't answer any questions

I just finished watching Claymore yesterday and i was disappointed by the ending. Raki was SEVERELY getting on my nerves with his endless crying and, im sorry to say, whining and Priscilla...WHY didn't she kill her?! *bangs head into table* MAN! I was yelled at the screen "Kill him, Kill her and move on! sheesh!"

The pacing really screwed up in the ending. The whole series had a nice pace in the beginning but then it became really rushed in the end episodes. I was sitting and blinking and wondering what the hell just happened.

So i'm going to start reading the manga now. My friends told me that the manga is much better than the anime. Though if Claymore has a second season and its gonna be on the same path as previous eps...I think its going down the gutter.

Yeh it would have made alot more sense and been alot better if clare killed priscilla. the ending was goodish, i think it depends on whether they make a sequel or not, if they do it would be a decent ending as they can follow it up but if they dont then its just plain annoying because NOTHING IS SOLVED.

Mangas don't have fillers. Nor do they have the luxury of time to make filler chapters.

Either way I hated the anime ending. I just hope to god they don't make raki into such a queer in the manga like they did in the anime.

Terrible ending. Why didn't Clare just kill her? I really hated Raki as a character, as I knew he was going to end up doing that in the end, because why else would they have him at the scene of the battle.

I think the same like nat ,I can't understand why she don't kill her. And the scene of the battle was good but well it was clear that's it happened so><
I like clare a lot but raki was not that's good ><

Sure, they left it open to a second season... but they strayed away from the manga. And you gotta love the five minutes of "kill," "unforgivable," "kill," "unforgivable..." And then raki yelling out "CLARE." -.-

Not only that, but was it just me or did the animation quality drop noticeably the last couple of episodes?

Bad Raki, if I didn't know that manga's different i wouldn't say that ending is bad, in fact it was quite interesting - but that Raki (havent read the manga), what the hell is he doing in that anime (he resembles to the guy in Gundam 00 a little, forgot the name... hes just the same but he cries less and isnt connected to main plot yet)

The ending was a huge dissapiontment. The only reason why Clare became what she is was to get revenge on Priscilla, but when she finally had the chance she let her live so basically all she did was waste part of her life for no reason
