There probably won't be a second season of Claymore given that the author wanted the anime series to be a self-contained story.
Given this fact, I am really disappointed with the ending. I don't think the series ended very well and the conclusion of the final fight was a disappointment. I thought they could have made the ending better.

It's been a while since I saw it...but I don't remember it being very conclusive! There's so much more that needs to be done.

It'd be great if they could make a second season. The ending wasn't all that satisfying, cuz it left a lot of loose ends...the manga's still great though, so I guess we just have to make do with that >.<
Well i liked the ending, although theres still a lot unclear, i hope there will soon be a second season, cant wait to see it

As far as I know there won't be any second season though.
The anime version changed a lot of things and even with fillers I don't thing they can continue the manga storyline, so basically there won't be any second season.

It all depends if there is a second season then yeah the ending is okay. If there isn't a second season then i really hated this ending because I doesn't tell me anything and it started a story and never finished it.
I was dissaponted with the ending(T_T) but the rest was really good !
I doubt there would be a second season.

Well I cried and cried up until the last few minutes. The ending does leave everyone wanting more, i'll give you that, but I still hope that I will see a Claymore trailer for a season 2. Its doubtful, but a girl can always wish it!

It would be nice if there was a second season, maybe in a few year we'll see it. I have to complain about the speed of the manga releases, though, because it's killing me! too slow, isn't it? I mean, it's about to become a second berserk, with a chapter release each 4/5 months! Plus you are saying that they currently are fillers, to add bad to worst. I'm waiting to have it completed before reading it, and I hope it will not be wasted time.
Nevertheless Claymore is one of my favourite anime, its graphic is captivating, the characters are strange and the story could seem simple, but it's one of the few series that held me up from episode to episode, where the next was always more intriguing than the previous. The "easy-dead" tendency is a good element too.

It was somewhat lackluster to be honest... all that building up to the crucial point only to sort of peter out and ruin the climax.

The end of the series was pretty good, so I leave fairly open, so I assume that there will be a second season? For that until now I did not see anything, just rumors ...
I hope something good comes out, I want to know what happened with Clare XD!
