Hi, i'm new ^^, i'd don't find that title and that question run in my head since last ep...
i follow claymors scan and i don't think they will be a S2 sama as the manga , but the organisation and awaken will not be ok for clair and others claymor how surviveed in north stai alive ^^;
pleas help me XD ( and sorry for my eng )

There probably won't be a second season. They already strayed way off the manga. They COULD make a new season once enough of the manga is made (or the manga finishes), which won't be for a few years at best, but they'd have to quickly make up stuff so they can continue with the manga storyline.

I figure, IF there would be a S2, they would probably start with filler eps to make the story of both the anime and manga once again logically connect. Besides they have "7 full years" that they can play with all they want to get the story right again.
I really do hope that they would continue the anime. IMO, the anime really brings the Awesomeness of Claymore to life with justice and great a** animation.

I felt hanging after the last episode. It seems perfect for getting a second season up. Hope my interpretation holds true!
I sincerely hope there is a second season. i liked the series very much except for the last few... and the ending (horrible as it was) leave it open.
however everyone is saying it deviated from the manga... which might explain the average-ness of the last few eps, so i hope they wait a couple of years before making it like someone else said, so they can follow the manga and ensure the quality of the earlier eps

When I first read the manga i found it great, and it was a deception for me that the anime ends to early, I hope it will be a second season for claymore because this serie is very good and I won't have the same pain that i felt when berserk anime ends so quickly.

I really hope they continue with a second season. but it would be a dismal start if they were to do fillers right off the bat. of course they could just wait till the manga gets to a point where a sufficient amount of storyline can be used to create a kickass 26 eps season.
they need to resolve the 3 awakened claymores that rule their respective dominions. we've seen into two domains but haven't even gotten to see the third guy. and they didn't even finish off the even one of the 3 ruling awakened beings.
but i can see that the storyline would be dry if they started making claire do a super saiyan 3 type deal where she keeps on getting stronger with no end in sight. kinda like what we are seeing in bleach now.

I have the feeling that there will be a second season. Most the characters (that are still alive) said until we meet again. They are going to meet again. Well, I hope they do.

I find the idea of e second season made by the same morons disgusting
the very moment they abandoned the manga, the anime turned into a pile of bull
they did whatever they felt like
for instance, turning miria (a calm, smart, knowledgeable leader) into a total idiot who charges right into the arms of an enemy far out of her league and miraculously, nobody dies because of this bottomless stupidity
the dbz-like model of an awakened being awakening even more is uhhh...
lots of flashbacks during a fight, even more uhhh
oh and that they let priscilla go just like that was the peak of peaks
i really enjoyed most of the anime, but right after ligardes went down, the anime jumped the shark and the final episodes outweighted all the positive things about it tenfold
should they however realize their mistake and use the 7-year gap to return to the original course like ShinuMirai suggested, then we might have something to look forward to
or they might just shoot the story writer of ep25-26 and let a drunk monkey write the plot for season 2, that should work fine too...

The anime ending was kinda screwed up to me.
I also can't believe that the plot was changed just to fit 26 episodes.

I didn't like how the anime ended like that. I doubt there will be a season 2. The way my friend talks about it compared to manga, there isn't a possible way to have a season 2. There really isn't anything left to transfer into a second season. I really wished the anime was longer. I really enjoyed the anime.
Since I read parts of the manga, i would not want them to make a second season for the anime series. The anime is already way off from the storyline in the manga. If it does have a second season, it'll probably be like those pre-naruto shippuuden style type of storyline, or like bleach bounto arc. I don't think the anime writers can match up to the original manga storyline.
The storyline in the claymore was mirroring the manga up until the final few episodes, and the producers even said themselves that they changed the ending from the manga so that there wouldn't be a second season, again, because they don't want it to become something like Naruto and Bleach.
