Also being reported on 2ch is that the hobby mags announced a special program consisting of a compilation of all 50 episodes of SEED DESTINY plus a new "after episode", "Erabareta Mirai" ("The Chosen Future"), that will be broadcast on Christmas.
It will air past midnight on Christmas. The new after episode will reveal the path of Shinn, Kira and Athrun after the battle.

If this is indeed true, then that's great. Perhaps they'll manage to sum up the story properly this time. I'm not sure I want another 50 episodes and yet another abrupt ending, so this is a good thing. The only thing I'm bothered about is that they don't appear to include these specials on the DVDs...

I just hope they do a proper summary, forget the recaps, just do the summary will do. There has been enough recaps throughout the 50 episodes already.
That tru, their are too many recaps, I really hope they do a good job on what happens to them, I don't think theirs gonna be another gundam seed
Oh WOW thats awesome.. yeah i'd call it a OVA also since there was a mini one for the first series, something like a aftermath. Thank alot for telling us , i hope there will be a raw file of this.

It was about time they did it. GSD`s ending was so rushed, and tried to do so many things in so few chapters that many things were left unanswered. I just hope this new episode`s really something that explains the unanswered questions and not just another stupid recap about what happened in the series....

Who's willing to bet they'll use at least 2 minutes or 10 clips of flashbacks?
And I don't thik they should spend too much time revealing the past but focus more on an aftermath.

That is good to know, hey has anyone hear the rumor that they are doing another seed series next year. We will just have to wait and see if the rumors are true. I really hope they are.

No !! NO MORE SEED !! Sorry for caps but thats exactly how i feel. No more, please. I just want to move on to other Gundam series. No more cry babies coordinators. But i must admit that IF something like this does happen, i would give in to curiosity and watch the series. Maybe cursing it all the way, but still watch it. lol
Oh, and yes i agree, please kill off Shinn, Stellar needs a companion. heck, even if stellar was alive, just kill Shinn for the fan service.

The only thing that I've heard about regarding another SEED series is just a rumor of a Gundam SEED Eternal in a couple of years.. say in 2009 or something. On the other hand, there is supposed to be another ZETA gundam series.. I may be wrong.. airing in 2006 or 2007.
