I love codd Geass. One of the best anime i had ever watched. Watched both seasons at least 10 times already. just can't get enough of lelouch. XD

I watched the series because..... well, what can i say? the main character was hot
And of course because the characters were designed by Clamp, my very favorite mangaka group and voice-acting.
I liked Lelouch's brilliant strategies and plans to take down Britannia. I thought it was really sweet of him to care so much about his sister even though he almost lost his humanity because of the war. The setting is very sci-fi and I don't have much for mechs, but the fight had a lot of action.

There was 2 things I didn't like. One was that that i hated a lot of characters in the series than other anime i've ever watched.
Nina was pretty much a psycho-weirdo with Euphy-fetish. Creeped me out.
Ohgi, what is he complaining about? It's not like he was such a great leader when he led and most rebels pretty much died a pointless death thanks to his leadership.

I can go on forever of how much I hate some of the characters, but not going to.

Another is that, I wish they explained more about the origins of Geass. I was more curious on how Geass came to be than C.C.'s past.

There should be more series about the "bad guy" as the main character than good guys.

I first heard about CG... I don't remember, but I saw some pictures here, some scans there, etc, and I thought, "hey, the drawings look cool" so I talked to my anime-manga-provider (friend from school, brought to the dark side) "hey, you heard about this Code Geass? What is it about? I heard the characters were designed by CLAMP..." and so on and he explained me the main plot so I said "Sounds like Death Note. I WANT!" so he lent me first season. I watched the first episode with my little sister, the final scene was "OMG this is too gore for me" and then "I WANT MORE!".

So the story, how the plot twists and changes (in kind of a Clamp-like style), all the suspense and misteries and surprises and "OMG he killed him!" and "wow that robot's cool", all the mindgames, the tactics, the strategies, it all had me tied to my chair in front of the screen squealing and screaming.

And the characters are all so... Clamp-like. You never know what to expect from them. Suzaku's change for the second season left me like "What?! DIE SUZAKU!!". And Nina totally freaked me out, Jeremiah was so "OMGWTF!" . And C.C... my friends look at me like "she's scary" 'cause I use to say I'll become a lesbian and marry C.C. She's so beautiful, umpredictable and... I simply love her. The Black Knights are all so amusing, Diethard, Toudou, Ougi. And the students are really funny! Rivalz, Milly, and Nanally (hate Shirley and Nina).

Though I'm not very fond to Mechas, I didn't consider it to be Mecha until I read wikipedia "genre: action, etc, etc, Mecha"

Ahm... I don't know what else to say, I'm up to R2 ep 13, waiting for my anime-manga-provider to lend me the last part (biting nails)

Code geass... It's really a great anime. Some what similar to Gundam and Eureka 7.
It has a good story line that revolves around most of the characters. Twist that you'll never expect that will happen. And some tragic events that happen to some characters like Sherly.

Code Geass is a very awesome anime, at first I was like this seems a bit boring but man it blew me away after a 10 more min in to the show, after the first season I was pumped for the 2nd =)

Well, I think I'm one of the few who don't like the show so much.
This is mainly due to the plot holes and character development... plus the so-great strategies of Peluche are ridiculous... so damned predictable!
He almost always use the same tactic: he puts bomb here and there and then... he made them explode.
Obviously if Peluche is an idiot, his enemies are even more idiot!

I liked it cause most of it doesn't involve fillers, there's nothing unnecessary about the episodes and it has a nice and complicated plot.

What about the useless episode in which the black kitty steals Zero's mask?
What about the useless episode of Ashford Institute Festival?
What about the useless Giant Pizza Hut episode?
What about the entire useless chinese saga?

When i first saw some pictures of Lelouch,suzaku and the mecha..i was like..Dam i got to see this..thank god for that:P..loved the characters design and stories, the strategies and the suspense were all well done keeping me,at least, always interested and curious for the next episode!

Well, I can't say I really like Code Geass, I keep giving it chance after chance... I've watched the series because of character designs are by Clamp but I can't get into the story and I don't really like the giant robots either. I've read the manga because it's drawn by one of my favorite manga artists Majiko!, but again its kinda not my cup of tea. I really want to get into it. :( But I just cant stand it.

Well...I just basically LIKE everything, well most of Code Geass. Especially the mechs,characters, and the most important of all STORY/PlOT!!: D

I didn't. I tried to like it but I just couldn't take the plot anymore.The plot twists, the over amount of Pizza Hut product placement throughout the show, and the art style all made me drop it within the first season.
