After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Ah well... where should I start...

At first I didn't like this show as in *favorite*. I only watched it for gar Lelouch and awesome background music. I also fell in love with Kallen and Suzaku, maybe because I can relate to both of them (and I'm a sucker for this character trio, I ALWAYS fall for characters like this...).

BUT! Some weeks ago, I grabbed this series episodes and watched them all over again. I was pleased I did so, because now I REALLY like Code Geass as one of my favorite series!

Starting with the general concept, we have a story line focusing on an anti-hero. Not only that, but an abnormal anti-hero. I don't think I've ever seen a character like Lelouch before~ This series has the potential to be something quite epic depending on how season 2 ends.
Then we have the characters. Geass (as general anime series) has a whole bunch of characters. When I watched it for the first time, I didn't quite care about other characters... Maybe because I was being driven by a friend of mine (who introduced me to the show actually) who only cared about Lelouch and Shirley. But right now, I think I love C.C. who's the most intriguing character in Geass. She kicks so much ass ;_; I'm also loving the entire cast now~ Except for Nina perhaps, I really hate her (she's so racist...). Either way, the way the characters interact is really cool - we kind of get attached to them. Also, Lelouch is quite interesting too. I love the way his character develops here - he's really *human* and makes mistakes as everyone else. In fact, everyone fails in Geass XD Except for C.C. (pizza).
Then we have the animation quality~ It gets better as the show goes by ;_;
The soundtrack is amazing too! I never thought Latin rythems would fit so nicely with mechas. Seriously. Nakagawa-san did an amazing job with this one, I really like those tracks.
I also like the character design, even though Lulu lacks some sense of fashion. I liked the original CLAMP designs better.

I really think this is a good show~ Doesn't have *way too much* fan service and has an interesting plot. Just a shame that ending, let's wait for second season!

Also, Sunrise.

I got into Code Geass through a friend's recommendation. It surprised me since she's not normally the type to go for mecha anime, so I had to give it a go. I admit it was Clamp's designs that kept me interested at first, but it's the plot and the characters I love it for. Especially the characters. I love anti-heros but what I love even more is characters that should be heroic/villainous and yet...aren't. Lelouch and Suzaku fit into that lovely little grey-area that gets me hooked on a character.

My only wish is that the conclusion was...well...a conclusion.

Im in to "chess-game" Animes if you will. Tricky, ingenuity, just all around alot of thought processes and ideas being thrown around really gets me into the anime.

Oh gosh so much to say. To be honest I was first attracted after hearing about it a few times in some topics involving some of CLAMP's series, Tsubasa or something I think. I heard thats CLAMP designed the characters for a series called Code Geass and I was immediately intrigued. CLAMP is one of the reason I got into manga, and stayed hooked.

I always do research on a series before actually spending my time (and my computer space) downloading it (and I download cause I can't stand watching it online cause my computer hates everything I do...). So I looked for pictures or scans of Geass and fell in love. I fell in love with the mechs, the Knightmares. I'm a total mech fangirl. If it has mechs in it chances are I'll watch it at some point. I also fell in love with art, not just the character designs, but just the atmosphere in the pictures. It was so intriguing. I automatically fell in love with Lulu and Suzaku. I didn't care if they were friends or who was the main character, no matter what I wanted to know who they were. I eventually found out the storyline and it sounded good enough for me. Mechs, CLAMP character designs, and pretty boys? What else do you need in a series?

To be honest I can't even remember what I was expecting when I started watching. But it turned out to be so much cooler than what I thought. I fell in love with Lulu even more. He was so wonderful, I love characters like him. Hes so great. Code Geass is so great. Even if the second season turns out to suck I'll still watch just to see the conclusion. Code Geass will always, ALWAYS remain one of my favorite animes of all time.

I was hooked as soon as the scene when lelouch stole the mech (I've honestly watched so many mech animes that I forget what they're called in geass...) and started commanding everyone and using them like chess pieces :)

Hi I also started to watch this anime because someone told me that Clamp was behind the character's design so I said to myself "this is something I've got to see". I'm a big Clamp fan. Anyways this is about Code Geass, right, sorry about the deviation. I haven't watch the entire first season, but from what I've seen so far I got to say that this is an amazing series, the animation is gorgeous, plus the music. I really like it as well as the story of course, I think is rather interesting. I have read some spoilers for the last episodes, so I'm expecting that the ones I'm missing will be great I can't wait to see them plus I want the second season too!
Ok so I'd rather be watching the episodes so I'll finish my writing here. Sorry if there is bad grammar and spelling, I'm trying my best, english is not my native language.

I likd the fact that the ONLY the character design was by CLAMP.. Im not saying that CLAMP shows are bad... but I believe they would not have come up with such a good story and a character like Lelouch

Hmmmm... That is another tough question. But it is interesting to telling an answer. lol Well the CLAMP given such interesting series especially adding drama, comedy, mecha, and romance which makes me wonder for someone like me as otaku fan. ( []-[])-9 Although I love it the story plotline but also the character development. Last 2 years ago, my friend told me to recomended watching that series. I still remember watching CCS, Tsubasa Chronicle, X TV, and etc. I got interested in females but also Suzaku's personality and Lelouch's purpose.

To be honest, I got curious about Code Geass simply because CLAMP designed the characters, and majority of the creative crew was also behind another favorite of mine, GUNxSWORD (like the director, the character designer who collaborated with CLAMP, and the composers, to name a few).

But upon watching the first three episodes, I thought, "Hey, this is pretty good." It reminded me of a lot of anime/manga at once, like Gundam SEED (Lelouch and Suzaku are like Kira and Athrun, in a way) and of course, GxS. The plot is also really interesting, not to mention the relationships among characters and how they develop throughout. Right now, since the series has been licensed, which means I have to stop watching and wait till I can get hold of a DVD or CG is aired where I live, I'm reading the manga.

And I just can't get enough. *sigh* Lelouch is one hell of an intriguing character.
