Why did you like Code Geass
The shopkeeper of an Anime store informed me about Code Geass. he knew that I was a Gundam SEED fan and I was into mech types of Anime and she also knew that I like CLAMP designs. He suggested this Anime to me and gave it a shot. I watched the first 3 episodes of Code Geass and I immediately fell in love with the anime. I was amazed with the character designs and mech designs, plus the plot was really something to look forward too.
Now for the characters...
The characters hold some Gundam SEED character essence in them. It just made me feel that way. Lelouch reminds me a bit of Shinn Asuka, Suzaku reminds me of Kira Yamato, Stellar Loussier for C.C., and Karen is definitely like Cagalli Yula Athha.
I thought the plot would be similar to Gundam SEED but I was wrong. Still, I'm glad it has a unique story compared to other mech animes.
So the main thing I like about Code Geass are mech designs :P

I loove this anime cause of the awesome character design and the plot twist. Though i get annoyed from some ofe the cliffhangers...waited nearly half a yr for ep24 and 25 and ended up with more cliff hangers which now i need to wait longer for R2 to come out

I liked the series until the last episodes.
Then it looked like the writers were trying too hard to produce HUGE DRAMA, then I stopped viewing. Sorry, i can't worry or care about the characters if NOTHING they do is going to have real consecuences (unless it's bad, or very bad; no good decisions for you in Code Geass).

Good,because of the chara design,the soundtrack and the mecha.The mecha in the series are very cool,comparable to a Gundam.
Bad,what else if not the ending?It was greatly disappointing and somehow killed all the great story plot from before and also my interest to watch it.

Many reasons, but it managed to make different genres work together really well.
When I opened a new anime magazine in my country,,,,,i saw lelouch there,,,and I liked him,,then I read all the article about Code Geass,,,
I was so surprised that CLAMP was the character designer,,,and under Sunrise production,,,so I thought that this anime was great,,,so I bought the DVD without thinking about it again,,,and I was right,,,Code Geass is the best anime I've ever seen,,,,,

I like Code Geass for a number of reasons.
1. The political aspect of the plot.
2. The very effective main characters. C.C. and Lelouch are so cool.
3. The crisp animation.
4. There's no clear "right" or "wrong". The show makes you take sides.

I loved Code Geass because it had everything: love, hate, comedy, action, intelligence. Moreover, the female characters actually have a personality and do not whine out of everything. The soundtrack is nice as well, especially Jinn's songs. However, the best about Code Geass is certainly Lelouch; i like him becuase he was a kind of a combination that reminded me of Kira and L (Death Note). What is even more, i like black hair and purple is my favourite colour. A perfect combination.

I like the power that lelouch have, its really amazing, and its not that much mecha as i thought it would be either. the story is really nice also, and hot everything is set.

The mecha is not quite good and some of the storylines are not developed well. I think the story writers need more practice. However, some ideas in the story are interesting.
I think what hit me the most of Code Geass was the plot. I first saw avatars for it, and thought it looks pretty cool. Later on, I started watching it, and was so amazed by the plot. I know that there are actually a lot of robot animes, but this one was good.
The plot, of course, was awesome. Lelouch's development as a character was one of my favorite things too; the way he tried to cope with being more-or-less a killer was interesting considering he's still so young.
And for me, I just loved Shirley so much. *A* She made the show worth watching for me.

Code Geass is normally not the type of anime to catch my eye, or attention, but very well drawn beautiful girl, with green hair (C.C.) caught my eye, heart, and attention.
Likes; the immense manipulation of people, into the concept of chess, the movement of the terrorists to evolve under a hidden leader. The ability to manipulate the nation, and use the dire times to a selfish purpose. To be able to lead an army of people, without ever revealing the identity, and baring the biggest burden on the hands of a man.
To live in sin, but to go against all that has wronged you.
Basically the mentality, and psychology of; Lelouch Lamperouge, is what caught my attention, and C.C. caught my heart.
Dislikes; how many girls fall for Lelouch, and how he's made the horrible mistake of falling to the will of insanity, and mecha is a bit overdoing it, all the new models, but no details, and the operation seems to be for any terrain, but then again how in the world do they ride the mountain, and mostly mecha development, and fights.
Good anime a 9.5, season 2 is a must to watch.
