In the End, Lelouch and Suzaku. Rivals or Friends?

I think that one of them is gonna kill the other because Suzaku wont even let Lelouch explain he did'nt mean to kill Euphie and he let the emperor kidnap Nunnally.
One of the two is going to die. I am hoping that will be Suzaku.
I don't know. When it's all said and done, I think the two of them will have gone through way too much in order to ever go back to being friends. Who knows, maybe one of them will have to be on their death-bed before they can bury the hatchet. Otherwise, i don't see them ever reconciling. The scary thing is Suzaku seems to be turning into Lelouch little by little.
They should make up and be friends. Friends before, friends later. Theoretically, it should be that way...
My guess is that Nunnally would have something to do with their relationship. She's the common factor between the two warring protagonists.

I seriously doubt they will become friends again. I don't think Suzaku will ever forgive Lelouch. They've been through way, way too much. This series really reminds me of Death Note, and I think Lelouch will follow the same path as Light did.
But I personally hope he doesn't. I like him.

I don't abandon the possibility that both be friends again somewhen, since the Imperator himself is more or less playing his own game.
In the end, Lelouch and Suzaku have the more or less the same goal, but the way to achieve that is different, in which the conflict between the two of them lies.
Though they're acting like rivals, Suzaku tends to preserve Lelouch in some way. While Lelouch more or less trusts his old friend.
The upcomming episodes will tell a lot more about their relationship,

I think they'll become friends again. Though it won't be the same. Too many things have happened for them to get back the level of friendship and closeness they had in the first half of season 1, but they'll be able to reclaim some of it at least.
How much before all the tragedy strikes and/or Lelouch does something to turn Suzaku against him again is another thing entirely...

Friends again, they have their own reasons but theyre not gonna kill each other. Than again this anime is full of anti-climax and Suzaku may end up dead. This thread is like asking will Suzaku fire 'Freya'? Just like he's not gonna kill Lelouch he isnt gonna kill an entire nation.
I really hope they don't pull a dragonaut here, it would be a really bad plot to follow imo
