TRUE! But Shirley choose him and he did something for her, thats what make it sad. Beside his father die because of a collateral damage. That helps forgiveness.

well after watching this i guess i can probably safely say that with the way this anime is going everyone around Lelouch is probably going to die in the end with Lelouch being in solitude just like Gurren Lagann with Simon going from the greatest hero to a nobody just he began except with Lelouch he didn't really start as a nobody..

Prior to episode 13, I thought for sure Lelouch was going to die at the end of the series. Now its really hard to tell exactly what the writers are thinking.

At the beginning of the second season, Lelouch was a power crazed god man. He didn't care about anyone but Nunally and his quest to liberate Japan. Over the course of these 13 episodes, his humanity has slowly unfolded. With the death of Shirley in this episode, I'm really not sure anymore if the writers are going to let him die a lonely horrible death like Light Yamagi. Lelouch has suffered so much pain and loss and he's realized that he can find precious people other than his sister. The writers wouldn't kill a character they've fucked over multiple times.

I don't think he's going to die. What do you guys think?

Damn the end of episode 13 it almost seem as V.V. and C.C. had a really close relation ship. Could C.C be Lelouch's relatives? ( I hope not)

Agreed, Death Note was great until Light died. I still get depressed whenever I think about it.
I wish for the ending when Lelouch take over as the Emperor of Britannia; after all he'll have to kill all his siblings right? What good way to be the most "evolved" being than killing off your opponents?

But if Lelouch completely wins, he'd be a mary-sue character. That's just not right. Boy needs to pay for his actions. He manipulates peoples and throws lives away. The unpure dark side of Lelouch will bring his downfall (doesn't mean death). I really doubt he will take on the role of emperor. Something tells me a character like Euphy will pop up and create a similar situation to SAZ that caused Lelouch to know he was defeated by a better idea. I think the person to do that will be Nunally. She'll be the one to save him as well as keep him from taking over everything. (_/)..

Ya this episode was pretty crazy. Honestly I hope Kallen doesn't switch sides, but with all that's been going on lately, it could happen.

In my opinion if Kallen switches sides it will be cos she's been brainwashed or something that forced her to do so.. Cos I don't believe she would do it on her own iniciative

Kallen will not be fighting for brittania. EVER. way too much bad blood. i honestly thought shirley was a bit of a mary sue at the beginning. but i like how her character evolved. and she actually loved lealouch for lealouch. even though he did kill her dad. that wins her some points in my book. and her death scene rates 9.5 out of 10 definatley. now it's time to off the little turd that shot her.

VORITA: I think she realizes that Lelouch was not intending to kill her father, and between losing her father but keeping the one she loves and losing both, I wouldn't say that it's unreasonable that she chose the former.

Ha! If he didn't go around blowing up mountains and killing thousands, her father wouldn't have been part of any "collateral damage". What a bunch of nonsense. Lelouch is getting exactly what he deserves, and I won't be suprised if Rollo kills Nunnally next and pushes him totally over the edge.

Lelouch doesn't get to pick and choose. He has decided he's going to be a Machiavellian bastard who will sacrifice any person as a pawn to accomplish his goals, so he can't expect any less than to lose people over and over again.

I am furious that Shirley is dead. I thought she was going to become a key character and they build her up and then finish her off. I was not hoping for a Lulu/Shirley ending, but for her to devote herself to him like that only to get shot down by an emotionally unstable Rolo is fairly upsetting.

I might get smashed for saying this but

I am not happy about what happened to shirly... but really though she could have been alive if she didn't think she knew everything... she thought lulu was alone... and because she got her memory back she thought she was his only support... in turn when you are in a dangerous situation like that to help someone you should actually goto a safe place so you won't be used as a bait or something... i mean she was used once... and she runs in to "help" him yet again? O_o and this time instead of losing her memory she lost her life ><

she told suzaku that he just don't want to forgive him... hmmm i do wonder if she would forgive a friend if that friend killed lulu and she knew about it O_o she doesn't even know WHY suzaku hates him but talks down to him O_O! of course she knows about her father but she was obsessive enough to forgive him for it

i do feel bad for her but she could have so saved herself >< which in turn would have been soo much better for lulu which is exactly what she wants his happiness no? >< she is so simple minded

alot of people are saying she could have been a key character but how? O_o i really do not see that at all... maybe a character lulu cares deeply about but as for big in his plot i cannot see it... she cannot pilot knightmares like kallen... she doesn't have any special abilities like C.C... shes so simpleminded shes not looking at the bigger picture at all O_O

rolo on the other hand is definately obsessed O_O and alot of people are saying he shot her but i think he stabbed her ^^;; didn't we see him do that once before? lol

i felt sorry for rolo all this time since he trusted lulu's fake affection but now i guess he will get whats coming to him xP

oh how i wished for happier development where rolo gets along with nunnally and become a happy family xD haha

now im scared for nunnally's life O_O rolo might really kill her... but then again he knows if he did something like that lulu will never ever forgive him so O_O

that is just my opinion although it does suck for lulu big time ><

i am waiting to see more of kallen and CC and whats going on with the whole orange kun thing ^^;;
