Everyone hate Susaku?

I don't know what you guys think but in my opinion, I think Suzaku is okay...
At first I hate him but he slowly gain back his trust from me when it comes to the end of R2. Haha. XD
The first Volume, he looked like a traitor, he is against Lelouch.
During the 2nd Volume, he understand Lelouch and helped him.
However, I am really unhappy with the ending. I cried. T.T

Because he's a bit hypocrite, and a traitor ¬¬

Well I don't hate him but him betraying kinda ruined the mood, but over all I think code geass was the bomb.
I never hated Suzaku. He made me mad quite a few times, but I never hated him.

I don't hate him but I do think he was a douche and the story could have had a minor change and lelouch would have lived,
you could even go as far as saying lelouch loved suzaku more than anyone else in the show, in a way

I actually like suzaku. Sure he has his character flaws but unlike Lelouch he doesn't have the wit to outsmart everyone. He has the brawns and he just tackles everything head on, which makes everyone think hes a bad person. In the end they both were the same, they threw away their humanity to achieve world peace.

I don't particularly "hate" him, since that is indeed a strong word in itself. However, yeah, I can admit that Suzaku was never one of my favorite characters, nor did I particularly like him in any special way. He was pretty annoying and his "Jesus"-like actions reminded me of Kira from Gundam SEED/Destiny.

I don't hate Suzaku. He was just doing the things he thought was right, even if that meant going against Lelouch. People are like that in real life too, as they should be. In the end it all worked out, because they saw eye to eye and were good friends again. :3

Susaku has his way to save the world

Do you remember what happened in that episode when suzaku thought he killed nunally? his view changed totally and completely... he was trying so hard to use his "right" method to change the world but look what happened? in the end its the result that mattered and he knew what he did was something he can never take back... i think that was a point when he understood lulu a bit better also in using his geass and such... thus he went through his maniac laughter moment and totally told nina off with her crazy wep production... thus sort of new suzaku was born ^^ and he went and tried to kill the emperor himself if you guys remember... he changed drastically from the usage of that bomb against his will killing massive amount of people I think a lot of people only care about Lulu and what he is doing, thus they forget and make other statments about Suzaku.
So like I said before, I'm sure Suzaku didn't believe what he said when he tells that "only results matter". Look, he couldn't fight against the curse of Lelouch's geass and droped the bomb. When he did it, I think he understood that nothing is possible to fight against, so why should he cry ? The only thing to do is to take this other burden on his shoulders and go on. Don't forget when this scene happened he tought that it was his end, Kallen will take him down and he was ready to die instead to launch the bomb. He was ready to give his life one more time for the sake of the others.
He never changed his way of thinking for me. Even the "coup d'etat" can be consider like the continuation of his toughts: take down the emperor, source of the suffer of every people, to put another who will change Britannia. Suzaku never intend to erase Britannia.
Another I'd like to point out is that when I read the previous posts, I saw a lot of people speaking about mistakes Suzaku would have done. But nobody tell them explicitly ? So what was these serious mistakes he made which push you to hate him so much of think that it would be a character to be hatred ?i explained before lulu killed euphy and did not explain himself nor did he try to explain the geass situation... so im guessing that makes lulu totally the best in the friendship wise? O_o
like i said i like lulu better because i like his characteristics but i like suzaku also and seeing people hating suzaku just because he gets in the way of lulu irks me... unless someone can give me a solid reason... it just sounds like the reason is he makes lulu's plan fail omg must hate
oh ya btw thanks will lol eh im a girl though as you can see from my claim banner lol xD and i wasn't quoting maverick it was kaia-chan that said those 2 statements

Throughout the whole Code Geass series, my opinion of suzaku changed dramatically. he would be super awsome one minute and then suck the next minute. he was an interesting character, and even though i hated him a ton during the middle of the series, my opinion changed again and i liked him again at the end of the series.
when the series was first starting out, i sorta liked suzaku. i thought he was a pretty cool character. however, as the series continued, i got annoyed at suzaku sometimes, but still tolerated him. but then he betrayed lelouch at the end of the 1st season. then i really hated him. he was a jerk who betrayed his best friend by dragging poor lelouch to the emperor of britannia (aka. lelouch's father) and sorta had a hand in changing lelouch's memories. i hated suzaku for a very long time, but as the series went on, i kinda liked him a tiny bit again. at the end of Code Geass R2, i loved suzaku because he became lelouch's knight and protected and helped lelouch with his plan to change and better the world.
so, i didn't hate suzaku during the whole series. just some of it. :)

Most people I talk to who hate Suzaku seem to hate him because he's against Lelouch =/
I personally love Suzaku; he's my favourite character. Not despite his flaws; because of them. To me, Lelouch was just a typical character; prince exiled by his country, hard done by his family, wants revenge. He wanted to rule the world. Pretty standard character on first glance (which was all I really gave him, I know I'm missing deeper character developments here but I really don't care).
Suzaku to me was always interesting. An 11, working for Britannia. His morals, his hypocricy, his goals. I cheered when he rejected Lulu the first time. To me he was such a complex character that I couldn't help but call him my favourite.
R2 changed things though. R2!Suzaku is just as bad as R1!Lelouch in my eyes.
(why yes I am one of those people who did not like Lelouch. I still cried at the end, but I would never call him a favourite)

Suzaku just fine and Lelouch needed him. both of them are perfect deadly combination, see the time they disable Flea -- proves how dangerous if both of them are teamed up. plus, out of all people, Lelouch trusted him and he knows Suzaku won't fail him. at other hand, Suzaku has a weak mentality, easily frail but his physical ability compensate for that so you can't expect him to act and talk the way Lelouch would be okay but because of his lacking, Lelouch was able to blend with him perfectly.
I hate how Suzaku is portrayed in the anime.
Sure he's not the protagonist but his thinking patterns are exactly the same as Vash the Stampede from Trigun. People loved that show yet when the context has been changed, the same personality can be hated =\
I personally don't like Nina.. of all the CG characters.
