I dont like suzaku. he is kinda pussy like. he is a very stereotyp charackter and don t offers much development, unfortunatly.

I can't bring myself to hate Suzaku, mainly because what he has the right mind-set. Sure he's made some mistakes but he's lost some important people. At least he did well in the end.
I'm just disappointed when I saw him at season 2... LULU FOREVER!

Well, initially I hated him. I mean, he doesn't do any good trying to "change the system from within" when he keeps blocking his friend. When he becomes a Knight of Rounds, he's kinda cool, but when he finally helps Lelouch and becomes the Knight of Zero (awesome pun...) he's actually pretty bad-ass.
This could all just be because Lelouch is the main character and I wanted him to win the whole time, but still...

that is not a real reason you know, but oh well, i did complete the season 2 already, and i can say, these two, were too great characters, and even if Lulu is the best to me, Susaku was still a great character, it's a shame not everyone get to understand his real value in this anime and hates him for no real reasons, it's like people who says "kira" from death note is evil, he just got an exagerated sense of justice and was overtaken by power, nothing else, in the end, he was just a smart and one among many, humansWhy i hate him, mostly because somehow he betrays lulu... even he is sorry for lulu when lulu is killed by himself i still hate him anyway...

man am sorry to tell this, but 1st thing, mind your language, and 2nd, it makes no sense, offers no development? try to imagine the anime without susaku, what would have happen? Lulu would have end winning and ruling the world, that's the development? just cause, the anime doesn't end the way we expect it means that it's bad, or characters in it were unecessary, i could say, episode 12, that girl with glasses doing herself was unecessary, cause it was already clear she was in love with Euphie, and such stuffs would be unecessary, but Susaku was a necessary character, if he wasn't there, how would Zero have managed to have all japanese be forbidden in that episode where they did all disguise in Zero? if Susaku wasn't there, it would have end in a massacre, and you know it, and there are many other episodes, where Susaku had a role, and if you mean development in his personality, he drastically became lot way colder after becoming Zero's knight, and it was a fake aspect, he managed to keep that until the end for if not, he wouldn't have been able to kill his 1st and only real friend, who he found in the CC world that afterall, Lelouch was just trying to make something better of the world, with the power he obtained

I dont hate him , his characters development really intrigued me from the kind boy to the revenged driven soldier , to the power hungry knight of rounds and in the end Lelouches friend. He was a very well made character althought I did hate him threw most of R2 in the end I didnt.
Suzaku stopped the making of the third season because he killed lelouch..

I think it's pretty obvious already, Suzaku is a Japanese, but works for Britannia, the country that destroyed Japan and it's people. He's considered as a traitor of all the Japanese. Nobody like traitors of their own country. Lelouch is not hated much because he's on the Japanese side. He may oppose Britannia to avenge his mother and to create a peaceful world for his sister Nunnally, but his will to co-operate with the Japanese is enough.

Suzaku is a great character. He is strong, loyal, and cares for his friends.
i missed the old thread, but have to put my foot down on this subject...the geass does not give the effected people superhuman powers. Otherwise, Shirley wouldnt have died. On the subject of Suzaku and "live", we all saw him dodge MG rounds and kick the gun in first season. Deepest apologies for going off topic, please forgive.

eddokunwell i can tell you why from my perspective note: i don't hate suzaku LOL if there was a character i hated in CG it was shirley because she did something SoO stupid she caused herself her own death and i think i explained that somewhere within the code geass community lol i think most people that watches CG loves lulu like literally sees him as their BEST BEST character ever... of course lulu has his own share of flaws but they are all forgiven because he is lulu (for example when he put gun on tianzi's head LOL i was like O_O! lulu omg thats all time low lol) and once they are at the point where they love lulu to death suzaku stands in his way! omg suzaku messed up his plan ONCE AGAIN he needs to go die! (note not everyone thinks or feel this way but im showing you one extreme) and with that thought they will pin point everything suzaku done wrong to prove that he is a detestable character (although like i said lulu has his own share of flaws) so there you go people hate suzaku because hes messing with lulu this can be proven because so many people started liking him again after he joined side with lulu O_O as a character he didn't change at all right? like i said i never hated suzaku heck i loved rolo even LOL but people have their reasons note: people's reason for hating rolo: he killed SHIRLEY OMG NOW SHIRLEY x LULU CAN NEVER BE ROLO NEEDS TO GO DIE when in reality shirley ran in when lulu told her to be safe and stay with suzaku because she thinks she can run into a battle field with no wep and survive and some how become a big help to him O_o alot of hate has to do with people and their own favorites as for pairing like i stated in another thread i can care less i became attached to most of the characters ^^
