Everyone hate Susaku?
I've got to say that i did hate susaku in the begining but in the end you have to like him because he killed his own best friend...and he faked his own death just to be reborn as zero

Well yeah I'm sad but at the same time I'm really happy that something like that made me feel sad. the only reason why i started liking susaku was because he became Lelouch's # one night in the end but the ending was not so great.

and you said Susaku was "stupid", note that there is a big difference between being stupid, and having different point of views, you can't just say someone is stupid because he or she thinks that the glass is half empty while on your side you think that it's half full
so back to the topic, on a certain point of view, it's true that it's annoying that he kept sticking to his concept, but Lelouch did to his too, and if everyone forgot, Lelouch gave up once and turned to Susaku, for help, in season 2, but nobody ever mention that point, that once in the serie, Lelouch admitted that he has done a wrong move and that Susaku only could help restore things, and he could have, if had been more clever and careful about his moves as Lelouch was, that was the main difference

@ jxmode : an offtopic reply from me, is I agree with you, I hated shirley too, for she is too much like those anime girls, falling for the main character and stupidly acting as you expect from an anime girl, if you see what i mean, she didn't have a heavy personality, and even when her memory came back to her, her actions were really illogical, but back to the topic, true most are Lelouch supporters, which quite get me a bit annoyed, because just cause you like one side doesn't meant you need to full throttle hate the other side, i mean, i saw many animes, where there are good side and bad side, i don't remember anyone who watched superman saying "i hate Lex lutor" or anyone who watched Dragon ball Z saying "i hate freezer" or "Vegeta", while here, it was really irrational the hate of people towards Susaku, so i kinda feel disappointed that the audience would fall for such trick and still be keening for animes which turns around half nake girls and e moments instead of making the best of such well developed characters

Why could you hate shirely?-MaverickSlayer,, but thats another story... anyhow i do have to agree on the fact that most of the people are choosing sides.even my self chose a side. but to state why i hated susaku was the fact that he sold Lelouch out just to get into the system.. Comon on now how could you sell out your best friend. Thats just wrong and not the right thing to do.I mean how here would sell there best friend out just to be a higher rank.

@ Lelouch - O : well, it's not totally out of reason, what you said, he sold Lelouch for these reasons
1. He lied on his identity
2. cause many death and sufferings that Susaku had witness
3 He was the reason of the death of the only one he developed some close feelings to
if tomorrow, you learn that your best friend went to pub, and while on his/her way home, totally drunk, did hit a member of your family or someone close to you, won't you hate him/her? it would be a lie of course if you say no, it is obvious you'd feel hate towards the irresponsibility, and so on, like i said, most of the reasons for which people hate Susaku are justified, and that's what makes it weird, if it was for something like ... I don't know, like he did something that had no reason behind, like something just to bring down Lelouch for fun, then i would say, yeah that guy is stupid, and needed to be out of that anime or stuff, but it never was so, all what he did, was always hiding a deep reason to

I have to admit Suzaku did get in the way of a lot of things, like when Lulu had tried to go save Nunally. Suzaku did make a series of mistakes in life, like killing his father who could've found a way to saving Japan. It was incredibly low for him to sell Lelouch to the emperor. Out of all the things he could've done to Lelouch, he chose to sell him out for a rank. Suzaku had suffered a lot and wanted Lelouch to go through the same thing.
And then, after Lelouch gets free again, Suzaku tries to turn in AGAIN. Now that's betrayal. Lelouch actually though he could explain everything to his "friend", but the cops came for him.
Oh wait...
One unforgivable thing that Suzaku did was try to give Kallen Refrain. To think he would go that far! But all was won when Kallen didn't back down. She owned him.

Okay yeah, I dont like how the show gives a lot of perverted scenes and such. As for SUZAKU, welllllll I hate him because he just finds a way to piss me off no matter what. I mean when he was first introduced, I felt sorry for him and all since he was treated so badly and I respected Lelouch for treating him nice as a friend. BUT THEN, once Euphemia dies, oh god, he snaps. I mean, after finding out Lelouch did it, it's understandable to be angry since he loved her, but he could at least ask Lelouch WHY he killed her. If he had known that Lelouch's geass went whack, then wouldnt he be more forgiving? In the second series it's like all he does is for power and his rank--he doesnt care as much for Lelouch, just hating him. He's like the worst best friend a guy could have haha. What I dont get most is why he betrays Lelouch and then kills him as his "friend" while crying. He's so stupid because he's wanted to kill him all along. If he was gonna regret it at the end, he shouldve just not been an idiot and try getting revenge on Lelouch for Euphy's sake T_T
