Code Geass Season 2 ending...
7 months 3 weeks ago
Personally i think they can make a season 3...since zero still exists...and so does c.c....maybe this time it will more about c.c's another code users past?
I loved the ending of the second season of Code Geass. It redeemed Lelouch's character in my eyes, when he died. After he became emperor, I thought he had become drunk with power. But he died in the end to better the world. But did he really die? My hypothesis is that he didn't. After Lelouch killed his father, he gained his the geass of immortality. So even though he was stabbed with a sword, he was able to survive. As others have stated previously, I think C.C. was talking to Lelouch, who was driving the cart. Yet, I do not think they will come out with a season 3 because they wrapped up the series nicely in season 2.

Few oddities, when they show the flashback between lalouch and suzaku, lulu says (paraphrasing) "now i must disappear and you are going to kill me like we agreed." interesting way to put the word vanish or disappear in there on talking about the end of requieum zero.
now the end scene between the two sure seemed like suzaku was crying about killing a friend, but they weren't all the friendly in the scenes even after they were on the same side. he seemed to think he had to bully lulu to carry out his plan when his sister was involved, but if lulu did have the code then he could have been crying because in the end he finally realized what all lalouch was giving up and why he did it all, and perhaps regret that he never really believed in his friend even up till the end.
to top it off suzaku was going to be punished because he was officially "dead" and now had the mask of zero he would have noone to rely on or depend on save maybe some of the core guard that lalouch trusted, but then again we do not know how much all of them know orange would probably know the most of all of them, loyd, super maid, rakashanna, etc all the people in jail at the end kinda joking around waiting for the end of the grand plan, might have known lest part of it but if they know suzaku was alive at all hard to say.
and lol at the people that insist that C2's wish was to die, it was not. one thing lalouch learns early on when mal shows up is just how good a liar C2 is. C2 and lalouch are more alike than her and suzaku.
although it seems that C2 even lied to herself because even she is convinced that is her true wish, yet every time she gets a chance for someone to take her code and grant her wish she backs out, because her true wish was more along the lines to find true love and to find someone like lalouch that when he found out her "wish" would fight to convince her to live on and from R1 someone that could say her real name with true love and passion. but then she never told anyone her real name except lalouch that accidently got it when she was weak.
then for all the times i have seen the charles, lalouch, C2, lulu's mother in C world. i really have never quite decided if charles and his wife were seriously out to destroy lulu and his sister, or they were messing with his mind to push him and C2 closer together.
when C2 dumps lalouch out of C world in their 1st meeting charles has this kinda cheesy grin on his face, not really the evil "i win" smile. then when he escapes C2s protective memory zone and returns, charles restrains him and just kinda torments him by leering over C2.
then when lulu's mother and C2 or going to the god gate, dear old mom kinda idly asks C2 if she should save her son. why she needed to ask C2 about it at all or if she wanted to guage C2s reaction to the question, is kinda murky here. all C2 does is kinda glance back at her.
depending if you believe that dear old dad and mom are in fact so out of touch and blatantly evil that they would just use their son and his sister mercilessly and mock them at every turn, in some elaborate ploy to draw C2 back to them. or are in a kinda EVA way they are pushing their son to grow up and in the process save C2's soul. i mean maybe plot device but if all they wanted was C2, why not reprogram lalouch's mind to want to hand over C2 his father outright, would have saved a lot of time spared a lot of pain and less people would have died.
but if and its a big assumption if they were really on his side, then he very well could have transfered his code in to lulu, his mark was manifest on his hand as he grabbed his son, and to top it off as angry as he was he did not seem to be choking him, so why just grab him? and when lulu tells his parent "begone" charles' arm was "cut off" while the panel just before he clearly had his hand on lulu's neck, and he was disintegrating from the feet up notice kids. code exchange? since we have no clue how these exchanges work it is hard to say wth it was all about.
but the biggest evidence lalouch is not dead? people have been caught in the FLEA explosion, been shot, blown up, stabbed, buried a ton of times in the show and most of them have come back :P.

I just recently finished the series. I almost cried when Lelouch died, and it really bothers me that everyone doesn't know his true intentions of creating a peaceful world except Nunnally. I wish his siblings would at least know, although I doubt they'll really forgive him.
I was surprised that C.C. didn't die and I was so sure that Villetta would just kill Ohgi and not have any feelings for him. Although I wish those two didn't get married because I just don't like Ohgi.
I've very curious as to what C.C.'s going to do next. Will she continue to give Geass to others, or does she still want to die?

Lol I doubt this is true, but someone on youtube commented on a video on the final scene of R2 that Lelouch is the driver of that wagon C.C was laying on. Of course it's a personal opinion for him really..

I thought the ending was somewhat sad. There were differnt stories floating around about lulu buh i think hes alive. I think that wen he died he became like CC and continued to live for eternity. It was a great anime!

The ending was sad... It made tears leak out of my eyes... I'm the type that don't really like sad ending so it wasn't so good for me. The only light to me in that ending was that the important characters understood the actions of lelouch in the end.

The ending to this series is magnificent. I personally think Lulouch is alive, it's an opinion. The ending was played out nicely. Of course, I'm sure Sunrise played this out so that there would be enough loose endings to create a controversy about whether or not Lelouch is alive. It's a great ending to a great series, whether or not Lelouch is alive is YOUR opinion, and of course people come out with the claims, evidence and arguments, etc. But the point is, it's your opinion, and we'll never truly know if Lelouch is alive or not.

How can nunally know that lelouch plan at the end? She touches his hand and sees everything. She does not have that kind of power, so why? If Lelouch did not take Charles code, then killing Lelouch would not make Suzaku obtain geass, is that right? But at the end, Suzaku says, " the geass, I receive"...Why did he say that?

The ending of Code Geass was so sad... I cried!
But it made perfect sense that Lelouch died and it added to the beauty of the story.

I liked the ending, i think its fits lelouch perfectly..and the song at the end was great^^ so sad when his little sister started crying. There also many theories about lelouchs fate. Personally i think he is alife, makes the most sense if you think about the geass, codes and C.C.s behaviour during his death (praying in some church it seemed) and later on the cart.
Well, I on the other hand disagree. Lelouch was, and still is, a noble guy who is willing to give up his clean name for the sake of his sister and humanity. He should not have died. Why must Sunrise kill him off?
( Though I must say I hope he is still alive. If he is, then the guy in the front of the cart is most likely him)
In fact, I think that the one that should have died is Suzaku, After all, with all his big words about changing Japan from the inside, he is actually a two-faced creep!
