After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

When Nunally touched the presumably dead Lelouch, she got an insight into his memories.

Yeah. Nunnaly's Touch. This is it.

The ultimate point I am trying to make is that regardless of what happens the thought that Loulech somehow acquired Charles' code is an assumption fueled by people wanting him to be alive. It is then farther rationalized weakly with the same example consistently being used (it'd be stronger if other examples were used). When you first saw did episode 21 did you automaticly think Charles' gave/lost his code to Loulech? Probably not. That line of thinking didn't originate until episode 25 when the possibility of Loulech actually dying became a realization. Prior to that no one thought that Loulech had acquired Charles' code. So why make up assumptions like "Oh he got it from Charles so he's immortal" now?

I was able formulate a slightly better argument that goes as so: Suzaku was schooled by Colonel Tohdou to be a highly skilled swordsman. He has demostrated his skills several times throughout he show. As such he should have no difficulty stabbing his friend in an area of the body that could pass for a killing strike but still miss all vital components. After a brief scene for the masses someone could recover the body and then rush it to a hospital where Loulech could receive secret treatment. After his recovery Loulech would simply disappear into the shadows and watch as the new world he created unfolds. This too is an assumption but I found more evidence to support this than stealing a code.

This is the theory I came up with as I was watching the scene play out for the fist time. At the end I abandoned this theory because it seemed more fitting for Loulech to have died for real. However it's still more plausible than "Loulech had to of stolen Charles' code to become immortal". Again the acquisition of Charles' code by any means is still an unsupported assumption. Charles may have grabbed Loulech's neck but it still doesn't prove that the code transferred bodies. How many times did Loulech and CC touch each other with nothing happening?

Well Lelouch didnt end up dying till the last episode did he, nor does the code appear until the one who attains it dies. And the scene at the end when CC talks in third person, with some driver with his face hidden. Code theory still stands...

Well they had an organised contract, which allowed them to have contact. On the other hand Suzaku took alot of shite, so to did Anya.

CC talking in the third person is too easily dismissed if you've been reading the previous posts. The possibility of Loulech being alive falls apart without this. There is too much reasonable doubt. OK so yeah, someone has to die before they can become immortal. You're still making a huge assumption that Loulech even took the code in the first place. As stated, no one even thought of this posiblity until after the fact. If CC never made reference to Loulech, no one would think he's still alive.

Katelyn

Wow you guys have left me in a state of !

To nychi002, eddokun, Will, and especially Kaia-Chan thank you so much for your wonderful support and agreeing with my opinion, lmao! I admit defeat and completely surrender to your knowledge of Code Geass, this is not without feeling like doing this .

It's just so nice to see all of you scrutinizing my comment and making me look like a complete fool, lol. I need a moment to collect my thoughts and try to recover from being condemned.

Seriously though, you guys rock and I don't stand a chance in hell of winning this battle so I will gracefully put aside my boxing gloves and admit defeat. You guys stated a lot of valid points and I won't over look them. Since the ending was an open one, my desired end is that Lulu is alive and went off somewhere to live in peace with C.C.

You've won this round but I won't loose next time!

Ha ha ha Katelyn. Don't take my posts like that. I never wanted to make you look like a fool. And I admit in one on my posts you had right on some points.
However, I still think Lelouch is dead and I will until Sunrise give me the evidence of his resurrection ;)

True, guess the producers and stuff wanted each individual audience member to make up their own ending to the story... guess we should stop supporting our claims for which is right, and support our claim for the sake of the ending we want :)

Code Geass ending, an epic... gosh, when Suzaku stabbed the sword into Lelouch, wow... sigh... Lelouch-sama is too kind... Lelouch died but i personally think that he didnt die. The guy C.C talked to at the end looks a lot like Lelouch to me, since she said "neh, Lelouch?" like she's talking to a living person... lol... i really hope Lelouch didnt die... All hail Lelouch!

Man, a show feels empty when the protagonist dies. Thank gawd I never got into Code Geass when I had the chance! I was really into Death Note, then it ended with everyone dead so... and then there's Basilisk with everyone dying... maybe I should stick away from the dying animes.

While reading all kind of Code Geass theories, I actually listened to the song that plays in the end for 4 hours. Always rewinding back to the scene where Nunnally is crying.
So i decided its easier to download the song. So i found out that the song is called Continued Story by Kuroishi Hitomi, and its made just and only for the anime Code Geass and is only used at the ending =)
This should be enough for another hint ;)

Perhaps, but don't you think it can mean that after all even with the death of someone important for you, the story, the life has to go on ? =)
This music is so penetrating. It gives me shivers. I can understand you listened to it for four hours :)

Personally im hoping for some kind of extra episode that shows how Lelouch survived, if hes still alive that is. I believe he is still alive and that Jeremiah took him somewhere safe and saved him or he had gained the Code and still has the Geass, and "resurrected". Like someone said that would be good explanation for the name Code Geass.

Also, him being immortal would explain Jeremiah's smirk. I dont think he has a "mission-completed-smirk". So they took Lelouch's "corpse" to safety with Anya and C.C. , Lelouch resurrected and now the 4 of them live at a farm somewhere =)

There definetely wont be a season 3. Dont think an OVA will come out either. It is evident that the director/producer etc. wanted the audience decide their own ending to the anime. Many books and other texts apply this too. We should just accept the way which we wanted it to end, whether that is him dying and fulfilling the final plan of 'Zero Requiem', or Lelouch surviving to live a life of immortality with someone he loves.

Quit questioning whether there is gonna be a new Season, or an OVA. Accept wat you believe, and incidentally, if they do come out, then i guess we'll all be watching again... staring for a solution to a problem that only we could think of.

We have all these threads, 3 of which talk about the same shite, and one titled 'Could there be a third season (spoilers)'... some of which have made interesting and topical questions to endings, and discussions to wat could happen, wat can happen... but when a topic just has people asking for an OVA or a Season 3- whether they just wanna spam for more papers, or whether all they really wanna talk about is having an OVA to solve problems- guess it shows how many people really think about the ending, its purpose, and just the thought that the creators did this on purpose.

Look at the above post, it disappeared while i was editing it...

Sorry, I did not notice it.

chinaman91
That is based on the fact that when one is diabled, the other senses are heightened. Note that touching that hand of someone would for a blind person indicate them of any slight fear, which would discern truth from lie. When finding a truth, it is based on a 'truth' on the spot, she wouldnt be able to see any previous lies before that moment.

However, disabled people do not only receive the gift to disgust between truth and lies, but also other abilities.
For example: Nunnally could make a different between the footsteps of other people and of his brother. She always knew when her brother came home without touching his hands first.

chinaman91
Furthermore, having touched Lelouch she discovered 'the truth', both wat he did in the past and present, his intentions and so forth, and was shared images of that 'life' he had, much alike to the one Lelouch and Suzaku had seen when each touched CC respectively, whether that was for the first time or wat have u.

We do not know how Nunnally disgust truth from lies by touching one's hand. That strange woman with glasses who was with Nunnally the whole time in Japan, she did not look like she was scared when Nunnally touched her hand. It could also be that Nunnally is able to imagine the current thoughts of the touched person.
Note that the series is called 'Code Geass' which symbolises he has both.
Furthermore the series has R2. In japanese this is pronounced like CC as in C2. Note that if Lelouch is immortal, he would be called RR, or LL based on his name, which further emphasises he lives on.

chinaman91
The other point of evidence is Orange. Having confronted the 'Zero', he let him bypass him to kill Lelouch... with a smile. Had he not had the smile, dont you think he would have protected Lelouch with all that loyalty he had for the royal family. He let Suzaku kill him, and was satisfied that Lelouch would come back to life, because he to had worked in the Order and had some knowledge of geass and the Code.

As he IS loyal to Lelouch, he let Suzaku pass. If Lelouch orders him to do so, then he will act according Lelouch's wish. This also explains Suzaku's acting. BECAUSE Suzaku is his friend, Lelouch asks him to kill him, because Lelouch does not want to give his life as burden to anyone else as he trusts Suzaku.
In addition to that, if my explanation still does not agree with your opnion, then you could also think like this:
Jeremiah admired Marianne more than anyone else. Lelouch could simply said that he killed his mother indirectly and Jeremiah would not mind if Lelouch died.
However, I am not convinced by that reason myself.

Katelyn

If Suzaku had avoided the vital organs intentionally, then he would not have cried while stabbing his best friend.
