Well i also agree that IF then it should be a OVA or some specials.
The Ending was great but also sad i wished that Lulu would have survived and could live with nunnally like they wished and fight for.

I wouldn´t like a third season. I think everything is pretty much concluded. well, except one thing that I don´t remember. I never understood whom C.C. was talking to? you know, like when she is talking all alone. Can anyone help me with that. I am pretty sure she explains it at some point, but I must have missed it.

From what I've figured out she's probably talking to Marianne. She did mention her name on a couple of occasions.
I hope so, it's a great anime, i want to see more of C.C.
There could be but probably no Lelouch, otherwise, it was all for nothing if Lelouch is still alive. then again, Code Geass without Lelouch is senseless anyway. if there's any plan for R3, maybe they could put a side story when Lelouch is still or something like that. this was fun all along and because of that, almost all have hoped for third season.

No: It would ruin a perfectly good storyline.
And wouldn't Sunrise put some updates out there if they were going to make a 3rd season or a movie? I recall seeing a rumor on some forum (I don't remember where) they said supposedly Sunrise would be releasing the 3rd season of CG in 2009 - we're almost finishing up 2009 and still nothing.

I only know that there is OVA released two days ago. I have been waiting for the download of the OVA. I think it is impossible to have third season since the father of lulu has been died and there is no rebellion anymore.
But regarding Geass, we still know only a few about it. after Lelouch destroyed Charles' dream and his existence, they went immediately to execute the Zero Requiem plan. after that, there's nothing more implored about Geass and it's mystery. the whole R1 & R2 series tackles about Lelouch's rebellion right.
so i was thinking, after the death of Charles and before Zero Requiem, they could insert a short story that tackles about Geass. i mean, before Lelouch made a command to attack the place produce full of Geass users, they can still expand at that point and see it's origins and true nature. then called the series as Code Geass R3: Origins!

It WOULD be awesome for a third season. but theres no plot for it. the entire anime was revolved around lelouch and his rebellion. since the rebellion is over and he accomplished his goals sunrise has to find something more interesting if they were to want to make a third season. so as much as i wish the possibility of a 3rd season is low. OVA or movie is a must though
