I only know that there is OVA released two days ago. I have been waiting for the download of the OVA. I think it is impossible to have third season since the father of lulu has been died and there is no rebellion anymore.
What is your source for the information about the OVA release?
If they make a season 3 it would be a let down, since it would ruin R2
Yeah a third season probably would wreck the whole story line. But an OVA or movie would be nice. I mean there are still alot of questions C.C. name, Lulouch's death and even just how well the new system of government worked after his death. I mean the story is solid where it is right now but on the edge of everyone's mind their still thinking, could there be more?? Oh well...if something comes out I'll watch it.

Everyone's mentioned about how nicely R2 ended, but I think that a third season in the same way as Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu would work extremely well... Especially since the whole school setting already exists and the characters there have already had a lot of development...
& For all of you know don't know what Fumoffu is; it's a comedy/school spin-off using the main characters from a mecha series. It's definately one of the funniest things I've seen, and the entire season is like a side-story to the anime, so in Code Geass' case, it would work very well, and it could even fit somewhere in the middle; perhaps DURING season 1 and 2, and it would just portray lelouch's school life in a comedic way XD

I don't think we'll be getting a third season any time soon (or any time at all for that matter). What would happen in a third season? We'd just get to see Lulu and CC traveling the world, Susaku being stuck with oh-so-adorable Nunnaly, and Orange-kun in his orange plantation. There'd be no main plot, none as exciting as the first two.
However, an OVA would be just fine. It could tie a few loose ends, (like CC's real name) and just describe more deeply the lives of the different characters. I, for one, would LOVE to see Kallen's life in more detail.

... well anyway, I believe Lelouch is dead. Sometimes I wonder why people just can't make possibly dead characters rest for the time being. I mean, if they respawn, then all's good.
I personally think that a third season has the potential to ruin the series. R2's ending was already epic (along with all the unexpected twists the plot in general had for us) and I wouldn't want Lelouch to suddenly be alive again in season three due to *insert mind-shattering twist*.

Lelouch is dead, the producers themselves said that Lelouch is dead. I highly doubt there will be a third season and if there just so happens to be a third season it will ruin the ending that the 2nd season presented upon us. It'd surely get a ton of views nationally and online but it will more than likely not be nearly as good as the first two seasons.

They shld make a Ova/Movie or a season 3 would be best for those who like code geass and i don't think that lulu is dead though , coz C.C would not have let lulu die would she?

Although I love Code Geass and I cried when the second season end- I don't think R3 will be good for the series.
They end it well so let it be...an OVA or a movie would be nice to complete some details like C.C. real name or V.V. past ( I don't remember if they mention it in r2).
