An OVA would be much better than a whole 3rd Series. There aren't enemies left to start a new war or conflict. Lelouch and C.C. are living comfortably in obscurity, Suzaku controls Schneizel, Cornelia is with Guilford, all other princes and princesses are dead. The Chinese and E.U. are pacified. The world is in peace. The only thing I can see is since Lelouch and C.C. are both immortal they could come back to save the world if things every go awry in the future.

The info on that site confirms it to me 100% that he's not dead, meaning an OVA is completely possible (and most likely probable due to the series immense popularity)

And yeah I meant OVA not AMV, I get them switched up a bunch even though they're completely different.

I also just thought of something else that proves that he's alive, his line to CC about "if you're a witch then I'll become a warlock" or something to that effect. I really doubt that his final plan would include breaking his promise to CC you know?

Though I'm like this person with the L avatar (sorry, second page, if I click back, I lose the text and the inspiration) that I want a series to last forever (though Pokemon is way too much) I don't think they can find any possible plot or whatever for a third season, maybe just a short filler with nothing really important happening

Too many unanswered questions. C.C's real name, for god's sake! I can't go on living without knowing it. And that CAN'T possibly be Elizabeth, it just doesn't fit her and it's too common.
So let's all go to Japan to threaten Sunrise guys so they make an OVA.

I'm pretty sure by now that they will do an OVA, the series is huge in Japan and I'm guessing will be eventually here too. There's too much money to be made for them to just be done with the series, though like you guys I'm hoping that it's made with pride as well and not just greed.

A prequel would be okay but I kinda want something about the future or an alternate time, I don't really care about Lulu's crazy parents honestly.

There definetely wont be a season 3. Dont think an OVA will come out either. It is evident that the director/producer etc. wanted the audience decide their own ending to the anime. Many books and other texts apply this too. We should just accept the way which we wanted it to end, whether that is him dying and fulfilling the final plan of 'Zero Requiem', or Lelouch surviving to live a life of immortality with someone he loves.

Quit questioning whether there is gonna be a new Season, or an OVA. Accept wat you believe, and incidentally, if they do come out, then i guess we'll all be watching again... staring for a solution to a problem that only we could think of.

We have all these threads, 3 of which talk about the same shite, and one titled 'Could there be a third season (spoilers)'... some of which have made interesting and topical questions to endings, and discussions to wat could happen, wat can happen... but when a topic just has people asking for an OVA or a Season 3- whether they just wanna spam for more papers, or whether all they really wanna talk about is having an OVA to solve problems- guess it shows how many people really think about the ending, its purpose, and just the thought that the creators did this on purpose.

For me that'd just defeat the purpose of Lelouch's plan. And besides, how crap would you feel, knowing that the whoe world was finally peaceful thanks to some guy's plan which was him getting killed? It just shows that the only way to unite the world was to kill the common enemy, even if them hatin him was his plan all along.

I would love an OVA or a Movie. It just seems so fitting and there are indeed some loose ends that need tying. A Third Season I wouldn't complain about but I doubt it would be as good as Season 1 or 2 (but hey, if they were able to make such amazing stories for s1 and s2 why not be able to for s3?). But yeah, an OVA or movie seems entirely acceptable. The one thing that keeps bugging me is that Shirley death (maybe I'm just too much of a Shirley fan) and her "if I were reborn I'd love you again" thing. If they made a movie/ova and referenced that in any way I'd be happy...And I guess CC's real name, too <__<;

A movie for the series would be nice, but another season i doubt would happen. a lot of anime series normally aren't complete until there is a movie for it. just like cowboy bebop, gundam wing, love hina, etc... lets face it, they love to make anime movies over there. anyways there would first have to be a plot. i mean there is more that they could emphasize on sure but they could also end it here and it wouldn't really be bad either. i agree that it would have to be like a gundam wing sort of thing where by the end there is peace but then something disrupts it for the movie. there are a lot of signs that he is dead and just as many to say he's alive. it's sort of like a really well written way of doing things because business wise you have no idea if something you do will be successful so in a case like this they probably planned 2 seasons out and if it wasn't successful they would still be able to end it properly and not worry about stopping a series in the middle, but if it was successful they could make future decisions then. so if the public wants it, then there is a good chance a movie could happen. basically as long as we buy their merchandise and watch it on television still (not the illegal subbing websites which i'm sure many of us go to.), there could then be a movie. we just need to support the company and make them money buy buying there merchandise and watching there show, so with that money we give them, they could then make a movie for us. i love economics
