Just wanted to know what's everyone's view

In my opinion he is probably the most powerful in the show... In the beginning of the series he explains that his Bankai alone just causes too much destruction, which is most likely why we never see it. Aside from that he is overall a comic relief character and owner of the home base in the real world.

Urahara? I can sum it up in one word: PIMP. Yeah, I said it. That man is the pimp of Soul Society. He's got that mug locked up tight. He knows all the angles, hell, he invented all the angles...and Mayuri's jealous. Even God, I mean, Aizen, doesn't know all of his secrets. That's why he's rad. And the hat doesn't hurt things, either.

I think he is a very mysterious character. I know he was kicked out of soul society and so forth, but there is still so much more left unknown about him in my mind. For some reason he is reminiscient of kakashi from Naruto... so mysterious. But kind of makes them cool too, which is weird, cause in real life, mysterious is just dangerous or creepy.

I really want to see Urahara pull out the bankai and so forth, I want to see him fight in an all out battle. I can't imagine why he wouldn't now that the battle has been brought to earth.

I can recall though.. is he using a Gigai? I mean he still seems to have all his shinigami powers... unlike what rukia went through last time.

Urahara is simply one of the best characters on Bleach. He's powerful, funny, cool and...extremely intelligent. Definitely one of my favourite characters in Bleach. He's just one of those characters that you have a hard time not liking. He looks better in Shinigami clothes though! That sandle and Hat is seriously dodgy XD!

Lol cant wait for the fillers to end, we'll finally get to see him own again

Yay for Urahara.
Personally, he's my favorite character - he's often rather goofy, but when it counts, his serious side is really rather bad-ass. Plus, his mysterious past makes him all the more awesome (his hat rawks, too, by the way). >_>

When I think of Urahara, the first word that cross my mind would be "fake". Simply because despite his outward appearance and nonchalant attitude, we all know there is more to him than what we've seen.

And apparently his bankai cannot be used to teach anybody... does this indicate that his bankai is too strong that it cause fatality even if he doesn't intend to?

If there is something I like Urahara best, it would be his intelligence and his calm and easygoing nature. I can only hope that he will survive the series without losing that charisma...

Urahara gives out a 10th of what he knows. I think he will be a key player in the upcoming winter war.

Well, Urahara-saa is one of my top ten favorite characters in Bleach. Like you guys said, he's intelligent, mysterious and most of all, very funny !! Although, his serious side is unforgettable though!!

Kisuke Urahara is a funny type of person but also serious.

He's the captain of the 12th division but not now, he's a powerful person for me! he's great!

of course, i shall!! He's my beloved no.1 favorite chara!! (2nd goes to Hanatarou Yamada) i don't have much time, but here's my opinion!

*Outward appearance-
100% your local shabby... shades of green ain't bad... plus the hat's really funny! he even looks cool in it! even if it's really just ordinary! the name geta-boshi (Mr. Hat-and-Clogs) suits him perfectly!!

* His real MYSTERY
ok, we need to admit it... he did alot of crazy things which still kept ruining everything else... but hey, he's a real genius... without him there wouldn't be this Hougyouku...(i wonder why he doesn't step up and defeat Aizen even if he can?) he must be tad too strong! Soul Society just made a total mistake kicking him out!-- ok enough of that!

*Occupation
having become the previous 12th squad captain, and founder of the Bureau of Technological and Research Department, i'd say running a shop wouldn't be that bad... plus, having great shopkeepers to help him makes him as respectable as he is...( talk about his stand as a comic releif...nyahahahaha..)

*BANKAI
let's face it, everybody wants to know if he'll ever reveal it or not. it's a real mystery... makes everyone more excited! as shikai, it already is powerful, without making him ever break even a drop of sweat... (now, ain't that cool?!) his bankai must've been too powerful, enough to say it isn't good for training, even...

* ok, i gotta stop right know... i might be spoiling... anywayz, i'm too lazy to write more about my worship for my dearest geta-boshi-san...

i think he has a great personality, i havent been able to see the anime, but from what ive seenn in the manga he is so cool:)! i love him..
hes funny, intelligent and evrything i could ask for ^-^
