Do you still keep your school stuff?
Hi guys! I was just wondering if you guys still keep your school stuff at your house. I still do. I wanted to throw them away soo much, but everytime I was about to clean it up, I ended up had to flip and read over everything! It's nice to see what you did when you were little. My mom was so mad and annoyed that I still keep my stuff from school and always begs me to throw away my school stuff. She said it's space-consuming. But I couldn't! They're like treasures to me. I always had bad/good memories stored in my school stuff. So yeah, that's my story. What's yours? Do you still keep your stuff. To those of you who throws your stuff away, you'd probably think that I'm weird, right?
My mom kept a bunch of my stuff from the art classes I took as a kid. I'm still looking for a way to do away with several pieces (like, a certain embarassing coaster which she still uses)...
I also kept almost all of my high school notebooks and worksheets that I thought may be useful at a later date, and I'm so glad I did... I'm in my freshman year of college and it seems like everything is coming back to haunt me. I'm sure my AP Euro stuff will majorly come in handy next semester.
Oh, and then there are notes and stories from/to friends (even ones that I don't associate with anymore) that I just find too sentimental to throw out.

I can really relate to that. A lot of my high school stuff really helped out in my freshman year. I also keep my old homework from grade school, i just get so sentimental everytime i try and throw it out plus i'll go back every once in a while and re-read my old yearbooks and think to myself "Man, i wonder what happend to them?" I save all of my notes in college and find myself constantly going back to them; especially my lab notebooks.

My parents like keeping my report cards and certificates while i keep my art stuff from art class
Sometimes. It depends on what it is. If it's art stuff, then yeah. Or if I did really well, yeah. If I did poorly or don't think it's important I drop it.
Not at all. Most of the time, my papers go into the annual bonfire of cleansing after school ends. The papers don't matter too much to me. After all, what I've learned is already in my head.

I have a very large stack of papers remaining from last school year. I haven't touched them, really. I've always thrown away my old work before, but I figured that looking back at older material is great for reinforcement.
Although I rid of my old unnecessities, my parents kept a lot of my old projects, ranging from old art projects to journals.

It depends, if its something that can be useful in future classes, like notes probably, i would keep it. or like some schoolwork or projects that im really proud of then i would keep it.
but with stuff like bad grades and useless classwork and such, then i would throw those things away, since i wont have no use for them.

Hmmm.. no i dont keep junk or stuff from my last year or the year's before that year...but my mom does keep some pictures of school and stuff. but like school supplies that i can use in my later years then yes. i keep them or my mom yells at me...which is not a pleasant site ^_~
I still keep stuff from school.its kinda cool to read things from the past.lots of memories come from school.im never going to throw away any of it.well maybe i will get rid of some of it but i like keeping old art work.its fun to look at!
The things that i still keep from school are. Some of my reports card and anime-ish picture i drew. I sometimes like to take out my old pictures and compare them with my newer ones.
And the only other thing that I still keep from school is my uniform, the one that was signed by everyone. Ahh, memories. ^_^

I do. I've stuffed it all into some large box. =P
I keep my grades with me ^,^ all F-- D-- C-- and So on =) *sigh*
Hm...keeping my old school stuff? sure I do :O~! essays, reports, marks, tests, notifs, adresses, everything.....yup yup...why ? uhm...well...so I can check back....and...if I forgot something...it will be handy if I still have it :D
My mom saved a lot of stuff from elementary school through high school. Stuff like writings (i.e. papers), and art projects. Tests, homework, and all the other stuff was thrown out. She mainly keeps it I think to be able to see a progression in language, writing style, and handwriting. I've kept a few of my advanced AP class notes from Senior year of high school, along with my poetry and final papers, and I've kept all my notes, books, tests, papers, and anything else important from the classes in my major from college. I've kept these because they are good for doing research and teaching later since I'm a scientist and us scientists need lots of reference materials. :D
Most of it will never be needed, but who knows. It might come in handy one day when I'm a college professor.
