I was told that the extracting was bad...

Well, I sent yesterday a Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle wall and that is what I was told :
"You have been fined -100 points:
Hi. I can't let this in the gallery - the extraction is very poor."
So I took it very seriously and started asking myself what kind of error I might have done for my extracting to be "very poor"...But I don't see anything that would be shockingly bad in my wall; so I want to ask the opininions of the wallers of AP about it. Please be honest with me!!
This is my wall : EDIT ---> http://null4.free.fr/fia/Power-Up.jpg
Thanks.

There's no point showing us your wall at MT since non-members cannot view it in full size.
Please use http://www.imageshack.us/ for wallpaper hosting purposes in the Session Zero subforum in the future.

To tell you the truth, I can see white spots from the borders of the main image even if the pixels of those is so small.
Try improving your extraction, let the other people see the wallpaper first before you submit so you'll sure that it suits the mods requirements.
I also noticed that the signature is placed on the upper portion of the wallie. If you read the AP Guide, there's a requirement where you should your signature on the lower portion of the wallie. The taskbar will cover it and not ruin the image.

Ok, I changed the location of the pic.
I didn't know about the location of the signature : I wanted to make it look like the screen of a video game and putting text in every part of the wall seemed no good...But if it's the rules, I will obey them, of course.

That one on mt appears different to the one you uploaded here. The one you uploaded here had lots of bits left from the extraction - white edges and also some of the edges were eaten away, as if it had simply been done with the magic wand tool. Although, the MT version still has those problems.
For good extraction zoom right in to about 600 times and use the polygon lasso tool to cut away all the stuff you don't want. You should also work on a high res version of the scan - that's why the image has a step-like quality to the edges.
The guide makes no reference to the position of the sig, but most people put it at the bottom, so it's hidden by the taskbar.

Reread the AP Guide.
I saw one that regards with the position. According to it, Mods prefer the position of the signature to be placed in an area where in the taskbar could cover. But it all depends on CuteSherry if she'll apply it on her wallie.

Well, the guide says "sigs should be small and unobtrusive (ideally fitting underneath the task bar)" but that's really just a suggestion, it's not in any way shape or form mandatory. Having a sig is the most important thing.
But the thing about huge or badly placed isgs is that people don't really want to see them on their desktops so they won't use the wall :/. That's why the guide says that, rather than it being a rule.

The extraction has some minor flaws. For instance the girl's hair.
One good trick I've found is to extract the picture in high resolutions in propotions higher than the one you will use, then resize it to the size you want it. It helps hide some of the tiny flaws.
You can also use blur tool, but I do not know how the admins take it.

Thanks for all the advices :)
