How do you feel after you finish your 100th anime series
Im not to the 100th anime series yet, im at my 94th series by the way. I've watched the whole gamut of animes from Kasimasi to bleach to Gantz. But for some reason im starting to lean towards dubs than subs, reading gets tiring after a while. but im sure ill go back to subs eventually. Right now im just watching whatever they have on tv (gokusen, gunslinger girl, basilisk, samurai deeper kyo, and bleach for the 3rd time). Im sure you would get tired of reading over 2000 episodes in subtitles epsecially when you watch 5-9 episodes at a time/day.
Personally my verdict is: "after watching 100 series i feel a little tired but i dont feel like slowing down :)"

Hix! i feel tired too!! i've seen too much! >>_<< but i really like to see more...... every anime i've seen, almost of it i usualy like it mich but some of it ..... hix.... are dull... i'm so happy cuase i'm at my 92 series.....

I'm guessing I've topped the 200+ mark (based partially on my Anime News Network list), but I started watching anime in 1979 so I have a bit of a headstart ;)

It feels as if the life force has been sucked outta me. I dunno about the rest of you but when i start watching a series, I have to finish it regardless of how good/bad it is.

Crap, I've never kept track of all the anime series that I have watched. I would never be able to get an accurate number now, too much time has passed, but I would guess it would be around the 150 mark.
Back to the topic though, after reaching a milestone such as that, I don't really care if it's sub or dub, reading doesn't bother me that much. I'll still watch anime until I got both feet in the grave.

You actually count how many series you watch?
Honestly, I don't even know how much I've watched. To give a blurry idea, I've been watching anime since I was 7, and I'm 27 now. And I've seen most of what was released in Japan, subtitled in Korean, if not completely dubbed. When I discovered that anime was being released here in the states, I watched alot... then I discovered VHS fansubs, where I've gotten a lot. I also purchased hundreds of VHS. Then onto digi-subs, where I've seen the majority of what was released. Then came along DVDs, where I have over 500 discs.. I dunno. You do the math.

Hehe, well i honestly have not been keeping track! I know its alot, but i lost count after the first series i watched! lol
Havent bothered with counting how many anime series Ive watched... till I saw this post. And that got me thinking. Darn I watch way2much TV. Not enough anime. Time to shift priorities, I think I can dump anything but House MD and ReGenesis. That leaves some time to get watching some more anime.
The only problem is that Im pickish. Ive probably started watching more than a 100 series and left 'em at eps 2 or 3 cause they just wouldnt hook me.

Reading over my shoulder my girl just reminded me that Ive watched some series several times. Does that count? Lol. I mean, Ive probably watched Cowboy Bebop some 20 times. Give me some 10 more for Gits 1 and 2. Mooohoohaha.

I don't really know how I would feel afterwards because I don't think I will ever watch that many series. I'm a really picky person when it comes to anime, it has to have a good storyline and good characterization and most importantly, good graphics. If I ever did watch that many... I think I would be pretty much overwhelmed.
