His and Her Circumstances

Anyone have any glowing recommendations about this anime series? I've been highly and extremely anxious to see this anime but I haven't seen any fan-related reviews of this series lately. The anime direction looks interesting enough and so does the character designs but I'm looking for any recommendations.
The first 13 episodes were great but the remaining 13 episodes were dissappointing BIG-TIME.
The second half of the series were littered all over with recap episodes and the ending was totally hannging due to the last episode being a change to a different arc that focuses on two other characters and not the initial two main characters.
I heard the manga is way better and the story becomes extremely dark.
Basically you'll need to read the manga to continue with the story if you watch the anime.

So it's sort of like Love Hina, where IG Productions did the anime series and then decid3ed not toi conclude the anime despite the ending of the manga series ...

I really love the first half of this series, until it started to become disappointing. I was kinda irritated, because I didn't know what happened the show just took a nose dive. I found out that the animation team lost its director and basically ran out of money. The series just ENDS.
Still haven't had the chance to read the manga, i heard it was awsome.

OMG, people you need to read the MANGA first. Before you do anything with the anime, read the manga, don't do it the other way around...it will kill the best manga ever existed for you. It's ok...the anime, but yes, it does kind of..."ended" where it shouldn't. Anyway, just don't watch the anime before reading the manga, unless you want to kill a really good series.
I was looking for the end....
the manga is absolutly no on the net....
so i just find the next after the end of the serie and for what i understand
the end...but no the manga....just the text...and well if it finish like that

and of course like Yukino...and well if want to now....call me i try to help you^^
believe me is one of the best of all times...

If someone has never read the manga series and just wanted to experience the anime series, what about then? Most oftentimes with those fans who read the manga series it spoils the anime and vice versa. For someone like myself who would only experience the anime, would you recommend it?
Not forgetting that some countries do not have the manga.

*cough*scanlation*cough*
i've heard the manga itself just finished or is about to finish which would explain why they just filled the second half of the anime with recaps.
I already have the anime and do not have the intention of getting the scanlated manga. I just do not have the time to search and download. My time is quite taken up as it is.
But then, there are those without internet or only on dial-up.

Maybe, but there are a lot of anime/manga fans who don't feel like checking out the manga series like to check out the anime serries and then are introduced to the manga series through the anime. Like myself, the only manga series I only read is Ah! My Goddess as I spend more time wartching anime. With the exception of the Ah! My Goddess manga series I don't have any time to read anything other than that series so I spend my time checking out new anime shows buying buying a new anime DVD series every so often. I think it's important to support the studios such as Bandai Entertainment, ADV Films, FUNimation, Anime Works, Media Blasters, AnimEigo and the many other who bring official and licensed anime into the states. That's always important to support these companies who try and bring a positive aspect to the anime industry here in the United States.
I've watch the anime some months ago, at first it was good, but towards the end it just got messed up, so my opinion of it dropped, but the plot is not bad at least for the beginning, cuz I got confused with the last few epis~~
His and Her Circumstances are the best manga ever. But the story kind of overlap each other, and they involves the main characters' friends, so yeah, sometimes I even skip pages to search for yukino/akira? ( i forgot his name ^^;) story..
Anime's ending was a real disappointment. I think they decided to shorten it. Like Mahou Sensei Negima.
Overall, I have read 20 volumes for KareKano (sorry, using the jap version to shorten it and yes, volumes not chapters). anyone knows is that the ending(vol 20)?
Better read the manga first before watching the anime, there may be details not shown in the series that is in the manga. But sometimes it's vise versa in this case, the manga is better.

Speaking on the anime alone, the series certainly has its merits giving off scads of detailed and humorous inner monologue mixed with insane physical humor. What I really like about it is that you get the sense these two people really love one another and that its not like those other anime series where the man plays with the girl's feeling the whole time and they both can never admit they love one another until the very end (***coughLoveHinaTenchiRanmaEscaflowne, etccough***). From an early start, they go out and say they love each other and the gags still ensue. Yes, it ends prematurely and we don't see how it develops further but its refreshingly different from a lot of other romance dramas. Very funny scenes scattered throughout.
