is pokemon really that bad!?
Is pokemon really sucks very much!? because for me it does not... well it's kinda not the fave ones because it's kinda looking for kids and it has very long story and sometimes its kinda corny... but when i watched it with my lil bro specially with the new episode... it's not that bad at all... because the characters are maturing and the graphics are coming along as well... what do you think!?

I think it lacks story, it' childish and annoying, though sometimes fun to go back an watch. Pokemon is just the same thing over and over again from what I've seen. Ash needs to get badges for tournement, must fight team rocket along the way at least once each episode, get to tournement, fight, come 2nd place and repeat.
But it's not all that bad, it's still sometimes fun to go back and watch an episode every now and then though the "pi pika pika pi pi pi pikachu pi pika etc" does come annoying after after some time of listening to it.
Oh and if anyone knows...did Misty ever get a new bike from Ash? (^_^)
Looking for Friends who like FMA, Bleach, Chobits, Evangelion and/or Final Fantasy 8,9 and 10 . (^_^)

Childish, Annoying, Never-ending - my three words to describe this anime series. I used to love it but now... it's not what it use to be. How many pokemon is there now? 300? How in the world is anyone suppose to remember that? There used to be only 150. Now it's doubled. Not many people watch it nowadays anyways from what I hear. Only the hardcore fans watch. I think it would be good if it ended soon. Theh character Ash is never going to stop collecting pokemon! I gave up watching it ages ago already.

I don’t really think its THAT bad. I think it was milked for waaaaaay to long. People eventually lost interest and it became un-cool.
The show is obviously targeted for children, its no worse then Power Rangers or the 90’s Ninja Turtles shows. And just like Power Rangers or Ninja Turtles People will look back at the show years down the road as a fond memory of there childhood.

Well... for me i think pokemon is kinda like an anime for kid's developement ^^' well... they got this cute charaters(pokemons) to attract more and more kids to watch their show (i was once one of them...) but after some time not watching that anime... i finally realize how annoyin it is when some kids juz pop up from nowhere in front of your TV and shouted "POKEMON!!" then switch the TV to other channel while you are enjoying your cool anime... =_=lll anyway pokemon is not that bad...it's juz annoyin...

Yeah i guess your ryt its very repetitive when the time ash cames to battle in the 1st league and he lost i was disappointed... geez... and he had to start over again... the real problem is it's never ending and kinda childish... well the only thing i like there is some cool looking characters....

I think it not too bad. But it's a lot of episodes.
Well back when i was young it was alright i used to like watching it and collect there cards and everything. I used to play the game and even watched there movies but now i can't be ask to watch it again.

Kinda weird because the way the monsters fight each other it's like doing it by the details and like you all said childish but all in all not that bad, I'm still a bit clueless by the fact it made a huge impact worldwide.
Yeah it does make an impact... but it's still for kids... and i guess weve matured to be amazed with it... yipee... :D

I liked it in the beginning, but then it kept going and there was too many pokemon. Also, Fox butchered it, like everything they touch >_>...

Im not a big fan or anything. I think Pokemon is perfectly fine. Sure it keeps going and going, and sometimes its repetitive, but it has some good story. The more monsters the better, and the more interesting it gets through each season/region.
I do have one or two rags on it. Too much Team Rocket members & Jesse, James, and Meowth. I say take a break every once every few episodes, or succeed at at least something. More arcs are needed with at least 5 or 8 episodes, instead of multiple strings of one shot episodes.
Thats my opinion on Pokemon. Anyone can enjoy it if they look into it a bit deeper. (feelings, characters, etc)

Before Pokemon became Americanized I personally really liked it. The story actually has a basis to it, and although its childish, you gotta admit its still enjoyable :p Atleast the japanese version is.
