HI PEOPLE, THIS IS NOT MY CASE BUT SOME FRIENDS OF MYNE THINK THAT THE ANIMEFANS ACT LIKE KIDS SOMETIMES, THAT PUT ME SAD AND THE SAME TIME FURIOUS BECAUSE THE CROWN HAVE A BAD CONCEPT OF WE; WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS??ARE WE SO FOOLS AND ACT LIKE CHILDRENS? OR THEY are so prejicious?
No, we are not, we just take interest in things which they don't like, my friends are the same but that doesn't phase me at all. Maybe they're jealous of you because you are having fun doing something you enjoy and they're not :P

I dont really think so, the anime fans maybe act in some time like a caracter of a one anime, but than not mean it will be stupid or some like that, im a anime fan or maybe more than a anime fan i live for the anime, and i don't fell like a stupid,i think all the people thinks we are stupid its because they don't know about the anime world. so anime fans don fell bad about litte commentaries.

Hello, everyone. This is not my case, but some friends of mine think that anime fans act like kids sometimes. That makes me sad, and at the same time furious, because the crowd has a bad conception of us. What do you think about this? Are we fools, and do we act like children? Or are they just prejudice?

I have seen some anime fans act very childishly, cosplaying 24/7 (there is one girl at my school who is never seen without cat ears on), obsessing and lamenting seriously over characters, and not being able to talk about anything but anime, but the majority of fans aren't particularly like that.
Anime, like any other hobby, has many different types of people interested in it, and everyone takes a different approach to anime. Some people just tend to go overboard in my opinion.

Hey people i dont know much english because im from peru, sorry if I wrote some little words and heyy!!, i soo that this is not my case i just see so many people that have this meaning of the words manga or anime, they dont know this great world, they think that with this actitude of seriuos person are better than we, so..we , the fans of anime, are the bestt!!:D
Well, some anime fans do act like little kids sometimes. Sometimes it's cute when other fans do, sometimes... well, not so cute. But I don't think that has anything to do with anime itself. And I know a lot of people say that other people think that "anime is kids stuff", but I'm actually on the other end of that problem- a lot of people think I'm a pervert because there are so many anime shows that are mature. I guess the thing is you can't just group everyone as think it's kids shows and what not because everyone has a different opinion about anime, and everything really. Just try not to let it bother you too much.
We all have things we hate. For starters, I don't like baseball, basketball, or any kind of sport except certain motorsports. Other people like this kind of stuff, which to me is fine, just that I'm not interested and much rather watch WRC rather than baseball.
The same goes for those people who badmouthed anime; they just don't like it and are probably pissed off at knowing someone that does.
