After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

This section of the forum looks dead, so I might as well throw in the latest piece of DtB news for fans. The second season was confirmed recently, though there has been no release date of course. Here's the link to the official site:

Same animation studio (bones) as well as staff, although it seems that Yoko Kanno has not been confirmed to return yet... I did not get any of this info myself. Credit goes to Monir from the animesuki forum. Here's the link to the actual topic itself.

I really do not know how they're gonna continue this series. The ending was open ended enough, but I think it was a fitting ending. I'm by no means complaining about a second season though. I'm really looking forward to it in fact.

The second season could be interesting. I mean, for me, while the series was good, it wasn't great. It had huge story potential but I felt it wasn't really developed. It kinda hard the monster of the week feel and even are main characters never got fleshed out.

I just finished watching the series for the first time, and will watch the second season. The concept was very cool, but like I said, it left me feeling undeveloped at the end.

I thought the same thing. The episodic nature of the storyline was especially galling to me. The feel of the series was that of a cool, neo-noir, and it had so much potential, but I just can never bring myself to care too much about episodic shows. What's the point when you know the new characters are probably going to be dead/never heard from again in one episode?

Still looking forward to it and hoping they'll maybe take the series in a new direction. Maybe Abingdon Boys School will do the OP again, too. :D

12VA in the edition of Square Enix's Young Gangan Magazine Seinen was confirmed a sequel of Darker Than Black series produced by BONES studios in 2007.

I want to finish this series, but I keep losing steam around episode 15 or so. I guess I should finish it, since I can't stand anything running this season.

I liked the first season, it had a kinda mysterious feel to me, but ya it needed a bit more story to it. I hope the second season is a back story or has a decent explanation for it all. That said I might have to re-watch it before the second season comes out.
