Well since there is no other details or back story, I think there is only one choice.
Let them know what's up if you care about them, tell the truth and then follow your heart. And if you don't care about them, try and be gentle...

But you should be asking those close to you for advice, rather than going on forums for this stuff. Good luck on your decision.

Depends, how does the person that you like feel about you? Does he or she like you as well? If he or she does, I'd go that way. If he or she doens't, I'd get to know the person that does like you and see if you like them back.

If someone likes you and you dont like him/her back...
then you dont like him/her... make it clear and end of story.

on the other hand...

If you like someone and that someone doesnt like you...
then that person does not like you... he or she should make that clear and end of story.
