Why those things never happen to me?.... T_T

I wish I had one. My sister actually had one. A Japanese language teacher. He gave out CD with Anime and Dorama songs to students who get perfect score... Nice.

Wow... that's all I could say, I guess... wow.

I think it would be really really cool to have a teacher like that.

Ask her to burn me a disc of anime and borrow the cosplay stuff
It would be kind of neat if they made comparasion with the leasons and anime characters

One of the chorus teachers, several of the art teachers, and a Physics teacher in my school like anime. It's just that they're not really up to date with the current anime. ^_^;;;; However, they do like and/or are familiar with some of the old anime.
When my chorus teacher saw manga...he'd usually ask us if he could borrow it.
And as for having teachers who like anime, it's really fun to talk to them about anime without them being all clueless and saying it's either kid's stuff, very violent stuff, or hentai.

I dont have a teacher really into manga, but sometimes i catch my math teacher reading Death Note when everyone's doing work. other than that, it's just the students that like this kind of stuff at my school.

If I found out? Most of my teachers are in their 20's. I'd be their friends of course! But I still wouldn't think about y'know, "Hey, you're my friend teacher, give me some answers on next weeks test!" I've tried that before, doesn't work. lol

I'm an otaku and I'm taking Education major in math and science. Anime is hot nowadays and I'm very sure there are more teachers in the future are otakus. In my honest opinion, there is nothing wrong for a teacher from being an otaku. In fact, you can get along with your students (which is very important in student to teacher relationships) since most of them have a lifestyle similar to yours.

My English teacher is an otaku.
He brings anime everyday to school ^^. And in english lessons he even told us to watch them. You see, the anime he brings have English subtitles. Knowing that in my class those who understands Japanese already excels in English, while those who don't excel in English don't understand Japanese, he uses them for teaching us English ^^.

And when I'm in 2nd grade (senior high), my friend brought the anime Gundam to school. We were watching them when my History teacher comes in. When I started to turn off the anime, he stops me and told us that it's allright to watch it for a while. After 5 minutes of watching Gundam, he started History class. And a few days later in school, at recess, he watches Gundam with my English teacher (the one that brings anime) in the teachers room. ^^

2 of my teachers are otaku. An English Teacher and a CAD teacher.

They cosplay during school festivals. And during homeroom time, my English teacher would make plamos. He decorates all his tests with pictures of Super Robot Wars. He even uses SRW summaries for our language tests. He distributes CODE GEASS and other Mech anime episodes to his students.

The CAD teacher, on the other hand, reads manga when her students are making plates. She uses the school Wi-Fi to download manga into her USB.

My senior high schools teacher is an otaku.. She is a walking anime encyclopedia! I ask her about the story for every anime episode I ever watch, and she describe it without any mistake! She also my most fav teacher that year until she was fired..

I never met any otaku teacher anymore until I was graduated from my college..

That would be just amazing! but im not that lucky T.T I wish though hehe but maybe some day, I hope so! cause then I could be friends with my teacher ^^

Yea i like just found out that my computer graphics teacher is a Big Gundam fan hes into the anime and the figures, it all started when i showed him a two-page spread of Gundam Seed Destiny in my Sketchbook, which included magazine cut outs and what not. So im all for teacher otakus.
