I forget to add that my fave character is CLOUD of course!! His bright blue eyes, and his spikey hair, and of course his cool sword and his fighting style..so cool ^__^! Kadaj would be the second, after that Vincent ,Reno, and Sephiroth!! Heheh, there are so many great characters!!

Wait, you mean there's a Final Fantasy...anime? When did this happen!?!?! WHY WASN'T I TOLD!?!
Eh, I've never gotten into the whole FF franchise, except when I bought one of the games for PC and never played it.
But still, it's a show now? O_o

No its a movie. It's a really good one too.
Anyway, I liked the movie. it was one of the best CG movies I've ever seen. Almost as good as Finding Nemo.

I love the movie. And Cloud is the best. The effects of the movie are cool and the texture too!!
I love Final Fantasy Adevent Children so much! I can't remember how many times that I've watched it over and over again but its definitely more than 5 times :D Well I was really looking forward to this one after the disappointing Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within. The graphics are superb and also the musical score. Im in love with Tifa there so when some members here made a wallpaer of Tifa in the FF Advent Children, its been my wallpaper until now.
Although I would say that the movie is great, it also has its downside. What I mean is that the fighting scene is good but very fast paced making it really hard to watch the fighting scenes. Also, there are parts where you want to see it to be a bit realistic since you won't see blood being drawn when there is a fight... like come on, at least show some bruise mark even a little bit...
But overall, I really love this movie a lot... for those who haven't watched it, you really must see it...

FF: Advent Children is a great movie... it's full of action from beginning to end... awsome CG animation and a good sountrack. Even if you're not a fan of the FF series, this is a must see movie. Atleast five times better than Spirit Within.
FF: AC won't disappoint.

Ah yes... Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children. The sequel movie of Final Fantasy VII which takes place two years after the defeat of the mighty Sephiroth to the hands of Cloud and his party-mates. Directed by Tetsuya Nomura and the music done by Nobuo Uematsu, the movie turned out to some exactly what they had wanted or at least what they had expected and to others a dream come true. In my opinion, the movie was good overall. It did what I believe it was supposed to do... Please the fans and give a bit more of a fulfilling ending to an already great story.
The graphics of the movie were down-right wicked and simply jaw-dropping. Kudos to the brilliant designs and hard-working, under budgeted graphics crew of Advent Children. The details were very well done it's just that some of the scenes went so fast, you couldn't appreciate the actual quality of the imagery. Character designs brought life to what I remembered as simple polygons.
Next is the music. Uematsu did a good job in the music and it suits the mode. Though some parts seemed a little odd, it was tolerable or maybe just not my kind of music.
The story would seem odd to any casual movie-goer. But to fans of the game, it was the icing on the cake of FFVII. The story was straight-forward and didn't really invoke much throught on what was going to happen. Like I said, fans would probably know what to expect from such a movie.
Oh i just watched it today, without subititles, boy is it hard to understand without it...lucky there wasn't too much talking...but i had an idea what they said... i like that little boy with the brown hair, he's so cute. yeah it seems like a good anime, but all the people in there have flawless skin and their hair is soo cool!

I wrote a review on this a while back that adequately states my feelings on this movie. I'll just copy and paste! (the anime is so much better imho)
Got my subtitled copy of Final Fantasy: Advent Children last weekend. Though I had to watch it at work, it was worth the bother. Now this movie is really only for those who played their hours and hours of FF7 (like me :3 )though I'm sure many anime fans would think it was worth a look. It's just that this is a direct sequel of a game made into a CG movie and meant to finish the story of one of the main characters (namely, Cloud himself). The audience is really specific but in the end, was it any good?
I thought so. Ok, I'll explain that hesitant statement. Looking at it from my jaded view on movies in general, it's crap. It's Transporter 2 but even more ridiculous, both in plot and action. As in most things animated, physics is laughed at, as characters jump hundreds of feet in the air with as much effort as it is for us to leap over a curb. The stunts on the motorcycles makes Mission Impossible 2 look like Tom Cruise is riding a bike with training wheels. And the plot is simply a means for Cloud to have his closure with both Sephiroth and Aerith/Aeris.
But since this is FF7, on which back in the day, I poured about a hundred hours into, this was an event. A chance to see the game sprites speak and move and do wondrous things on the CG arena. To see the return of the whole gang, the Turks, a summon or two, and yes, even that bastard Sephiroth. Considering that they turned what was only to be a 20 minute cutscene into a hour-and-a-half movie, I'm turning off my jaded self and going back to my inner fanaticism of the game of my youth.

You're definitely NOT alone. FF7: Advent Children is an incredible movie; after all, it tooks years for them to finish. The animation, soundtrack, maybe not so much plot, but especially the fight scenes. It's just...so beautiful. It's one of those movies you have to watch more than once.
Great stuff the only thing was it was short but i cant complain sice i pourd about 70= hours into the game im sure a 10 hour move would have seemed short
with that said i liked the fast snappy pace that dint wast time with useless filler (like most anime) and got streaight to the piont
not normal for a normal movie but works perfect for ac
also to all you suckers that watched it on a little tv screen word of advise befriend people that work in movie theaters and share the same intreast as you and events like this become larger then life
