Yes this upcoming game looks rather cool. I am all excited to see the new final fantasy game but sadly we will only get it next spring. There isn't even an official release date for the Jap release yet.

It's gonna be Make it or break for me with Square. Really after X and X-2 id rather play the Atari 2600 ET then look at another FF.
And by the way things are looking Im probably gonna be needing an 2600, I mean seriously could the hero look any more feminine, I thought Tidus was bad but geez.

I don't think so. This will be the last FF for the PS2. After that all the other ffs with be for PS3. AND YES YOU CAN HAVE THE FNAL FANTASY 12 WALLPAPERS. Geez that is major spam right there.
Anyway, Yes I update the site every second day or when ever the info comes in. Hopefully it will be for PS2 because I don't feel like buying a PS3.

I don´t know...I´ve seen images an videos from this game...and well... I don´t know what to say. Is cool in graphics and all this stuff but the gameplay seems very rare or bizarre. The combats are completely different from others FF titles, the main characters resembles a lot with FFX´s Tidus and Yuna. And well, the world of Final Fantasy Tactics isn´t very cool...
But well, I don´t played so I can´t make critics of him...but well, is a FF and I. of course, buy it when S-E release him in Europe and EEUU

Well that is why this game is going to be so cool. SE is trying something different for a change. It is going to be something new but also maybe something great. I am glad they are experimenting with different elements. It shows that SE is growing into something more,
I feally can't wait for this game. I enjoyed Final Fantasy X and x-2. I think I beat them more than ten times each. I just love their full motion videos. It really makes the characters come to life. The backdround art is nice too. Thanks for the website. Very good! Does anybody know the actual release date of the game here in the US?

I will definately pick up Final Fantasy, but not on release though. I think I'll hold back a bit since I'll be getting other titles.
Anybody know if Shiva will be back as a summon?!
I really just hate the character designs. What ever happened to awesome characters like Vincent, Cid, Sephiroth, and even Cloud, to an extent. He was a little girly, but with a big sword like that, no one is going to give him a hard time about it. I really think that Vaan is absolutely ridiculous looking, and I've been boycotting the series until they come up with better character designs. Xenosaga is my series of choice these days, though I'd be happy to see a remake of FFVII. Oddly though, my desire for a remake primarily stems from the fact that I'd love the hear the soundtrack in full orchestration. It really was one of the best video games OSTs out there.

This is the only FF game I've looked forward to since FF3. Why, you ask? Mr. Matsuno was the producer (until he stepped down due to health issues, of course, but most of the game was done by then). 'Nuff said, really.
Granted, I'm going to have to agree on not liking the character designs... but! there are few producers I trust whole-heartedly when producing an RPG. Yasumi Matsuno is definately one of them.

Well the only character design I really like are the Viera. They look pretty cool. But SE is going downhill with the characters and story. They focus more upon the graphics than the game itself. That is why most of the coolest games are the older ones because they didn't care about graphics they just made the story and characters then focus on the graphics. But what can you do. Its evolution.

Eh? You hated FFX? I can understand if you dislike X-2, but X in my opinion was pretty damn good, the story, battle system, graphics, music, and characters were very cool, besides Tidus that is. He was too whiney for a FF main character, but if you take him out of the equation, this game would have been my favorite FF.
As for FFXII, well, after making us fans wait this long, I hope it doesn't disappoint. From what I heard of it so far, the game looks promising with it's unique battle system, and the story seems to take place in the same world as FFT, which is cool, because I loved FFT, but for the most part, I agree with the people that say the male characters look a little too feminine. I know FF has a history of pretty boys, but this is too much. -_-
