This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Are you a fan of offline or online gaming? Or do you enjoy a mixture of both styles of gaming? Have you a favourite online game that you believe wouldnt be as good as a single player game? Whats are the pros and cons of either game mode?

Sports, multiplayer fps or fighting games...

nothing beats OFFLINE gaming with a bunch of friends with money involved.

plus id rather be able to talk trash in front of someones face after beating them rather than talk on some microphone or typing out smacktalk lmao.

Until Xbox or 360 can make lag free games and get rid of online cheaters, offline will be the way to go. But it's bound to change soon.

I like em both really.

I enjoy a good MMORPG, or an online shooter like Counterstrike. Also enjoy playing halo 2 system-linked with friends in a massive killfest, and some quality MGS. It's all good.

Yeah I argee with this as well. Online gaming is for people who really can't make any friends at all and for people who have money. Offline gaming is for people who don't have a lot of money in their pockets all the time. But, I don't care. As long I can have something to play in my hands for gaming, I'm fine.

I prefer offline gaming, I'm not really one for multiplayer games. I can't stay on the computer for too long anyway. Besides, I like relaxing on my couch.. hahaha.

I used to play online games feverishly, but now I don't because I don't think my computer can take anymore strain. And there's not much games I want to go live with on my PS2. I liked online games, particularly MMORPG, because you get the chance to interact with other people and co-operate together to take on a certain task or goal. It's always fun when there's more people right? On ther other hand, the opposite might happen in online gaming, where some people like to be jerks, such as those who KS, PK and loot.

I like multiplayer offline games as well, such as X-Men Legends, and a bunch of GCN games. It's always fun when you can call up friends and lounge around in front of the system, and listen to the button mashing. Of course, single offline games are fun as well, since there won't be anyone in the team who could possibly screw up your chances of success ;p

All in all, I like multiplayer offline games, since it's fun to play with people I know face-to-face.

I guess I prefer online gaming, because my favourite genrés are FPS and Fighting games.
I haven't played fighting games online yet though, but I really belive that it will be much more satisfying than defeating a computer -_-.
FPS's though I have played online, alot, and I know that it's the best way to go when playing them.

I enjoy both offline and online gaming. And certain games just are not fun playing by yourself, something like Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is a good example, this type of game isn't very fun if you play by yourself, because it's mainly a hack and slash type of game, and is pretty easy to beat, and once you finish it, there's nothing more to the game, sure, there's always the "search for better items" thing, but there's really no point to that when you have already beaten the game with what you have, but online, there are people to talk to, and duels to be held, and actually searching for items is not a waste of time, because you aren't just using it to beat the game, you're using it to improve your skills in duels so the next time you duel against other players, you stand a higher chance of winning. One flaw of online gaming is that most requires a monthly payment for you to play, which sucks, because not everybody is loaded with money, however, Diablo II is played on a free online server, so there's a bonus for you.

Most kinds of games can be played online, and they are more fun that way, because you interact with other people, but sometimes, it's just nice to play a game by yourself, I don't particularly know why, it's just that feeling you get.
