Online v Offline Gaming...
Both are good, just depends on your personal preferences. Too my, I like both. Online because of the interaction with others and offline just to have some fun if you dont want to go online.
A mix of Both. Offline multiplayer gaming is great, but Online is there for people who dont have gaming pals(like me) living near them.
I like a mixture of both styles of gaming.
At first It must be a great game in its OFFLINE version. If it is bad in offline version.I will not play the online version.

Online for sports, fps and action rpg. offline for 3rd person action and regular rpgs. ;)
I never played online Gaming,... what is it like?
To be honest either one is good by me as long as i am having fun, one of my friends leaves a server that he played on since he started playing because he says "there is to many people". if he feels that way why not just stick with console games? they complain of the lag because there are too much people online but yet they still want to play with them to have fun to me this doesn't make a lot of sense.
I like both
online is fun because you get to play with players all over the world and you get to play with someone different. you can compare yourself with them
offline is fun because sometimes its just fun to play by yourself

With online gaming there is the fact that you can meet up with like minded people to play the games that you like to play with. I just havent been that interested in the online aspect really. Plus the fact that if you are relativley new to online gaming, there are people that play it 24/7 and usually spoil the fun by owning everyone and thinking they are a god..;-P.
Offline for me. I like to be next to my mate as i own his ass at PES etc..;-P

I like both but i find online is more addictive because you get to socialize with other people instead of playing all alone =P
The offline is cool, but if you finish the game.. you cant do anything anymore.
But online, there is no stop :D

I generally play both. Each one offers something that I like.
When I play an MMORPG or whatever, and I get caught up with a group, guild, clan, etc., I feel that I should play to keep up with the rest of the people so that I can continue helping them.
However, when I play an offline game, I usually want to continue playing it so I can enjoy it even more and have fun with it. Maybe even think a bit.
This ongoing battle between the genres continue right now for me. :(

Maxi-Ryu99I never played online Gaming,... what is it like?
think of it as chatting and forums plus rpg.
i used to play ragnarok online but i haven't been lately since i got busier at work. i got a hold of the offline version of the game and i took advantage of it since you control the stats. and from there, i know how to manipulate the ones online(as far as stats distribution is concerned)
i prefer a mix of both. one advantage of this would be that you can level up even without an internet connection active.
though i do not play MMORPGs anymore :( sigh :sigh:
It depends on the game, the history etc, there are games when you finished them they become useless, but if they have a real great history you replya it, or if it has a very very good online mode, you can continue playing it, its like halo 2, after a year playing it, i never get bored....
RPGs must provide great scope for online gaming, just look at the success of WoW for example. And although i am an RPG addict, ive never really been interested in doing it online.
For now i enjoyed playing so many offline games. But yeah, after you completed it, you can do nothing but replyed it, or waiting for another game.
Well, for online game, i played and get stuck with Ragnarok Online. Man... i wasted so many money and wasted my precious time for it. Well, its fun to interact with people, but now, it makes me bored because, you have no real target / quest / destination except collecting money or levelling up.
