This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Games. The interaction is definitely worth it, and you get a lot more bang for your buck. I mean who's going to pay $20 for two episodes of FLCL? That whole show should have been released on DVD for $30 at most. Thank God for bittorrent.

I suppose i rather have anime that games, simply because games can get boring after a while. Anime might also get borring but you could always analyse it more in depth. also games are usually more expensive than anime. you can't get them for free like anime. Of course when it comes down to it video games can provide countless hours of entertainment.

I would rather have both ^___^ like URI~el posted I also play games when I don't watch anime and watch anime when not playing although I do have other things to do other than play games and watch something. I play and watch in my free time okay? There's always chores to do and study.

I would say Anime because i dont have to use any brain power like when i play games. I think i get like a game-hangover after playing a new game straight for 8 hours on saturday. =p

I like both. I tend to only buy series I really like, so I can divide my savings between anime, manga, books, and videogames. It's hard, but I couldn't live without any of them (well, maybe I could...but I would definitely not be happy). Christmas and b-day money helps a lot, too. And buying games a while after they're out so the prices are cheaper. As much as I love videogames, I'll always put anime/manga first in buying. ^^

Its always nice to have both games or anime expecially if you have the time and money. But if you dont have nether then you have to really have to make that tough disicion. Anime is great to watch unless you want to do something more interactive, but its nice to just relax and think sometimes. What i would have to say to the question of which is better to have is that it depends on your mood, if feel lazy go for anime if you want to do something play a game. Now buying is a whole different story, their i just buy my favorite anime and only get games that i know i'm going to play, so as not to lose any money on boring games or titles that seem good but really arent. In the end i'm just trying to write as much as i can to get lots of paper^_^. but that was a really good topic to post ~purifyweirdsoul~ good job

Id probably choose anime for these reasons -
1. Anime is usually free.
2. I get bored of video games after contineous play.
3. They are many different anime that can be watched so I never get bored.
4. If I lose all my information on my hard drive anime can be downloaded again.
5. If I lose my video game CD id have to buy another

Back!
I didn't know the topic would stay alive. I'm glad to see that it did. Awesome!
I scanned through this place and I'm pleasantly surprised to see mixed opinions which I would expect. Shame on those who can't decide ^_^
But yeah, it's hard for me to truly part myself from the anime/manga world. So occasionaly I pop open a series and check it out.

I'm going to have to say anime, without a doubt, hands down. I don't play games nearly as much as I used to. I was really into it when I was a kid during the Genesis/SNES era. There are only select titles I'm interested in nowadays. I say anime because anime sometimes even influences what games I pick up, if you get what I'm saying. I've also invested more into anime already than I ever have into video games. My video game collection, even with all the old Genesis titles I own, pales in comparison to the size of my anime collection.
