Game glitches
Haha.. im suprised that nobody has mentioned the most popularized.. ( although it isnt technically a glitch.. its close enough) in i believe Air Wolf on Genesis the famous phrase " All your base are belong to us" ...
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time had a nasty little bug, during the first disc, when I was in battles they would freeze. For over a minute. It drove me absolutely insane. I had the disc cleaned professionally and it still happened, so I looked it up an turns out that on older PS2's it doesn't run well, but even on newer versions the freezes keep happening. Not cool.
This isn't exactly a glitch as such as the code isn't producing this effect at all. Star Ocean 3 is one of the first games to utilise a dual layer DVD. Upon its release in Japan there was a spate of problems such as those you've mentioned where there would be a delay in the refocussing of the PS2's laser to read the data (mainly voice samples) from the second layer. This is a hardware issue rather than a programming error.

It was Zero Wing on Genesis that coined that phrase... not Air Wolf.
your rite there are sooooo many glithes in san andreas i wus playin in 1 player mode and i flew mi stunt plane into the ground and the plane exploded and mi guy just floated above the ground 4 a couple seconds then he just got stood up i just kept playin krazy huh......I found many-many glitches in Gran Theft Auto San Andreas PS2. Example: I can play my character without his head. In 2 player modes cut your hero's head with player 2's katana. Then he'll die. When he's alive again you will play without your head and blood splurting out of his head. I find other glitches too but I can't remember. I'll post it when I remember it.

But it is rather funny to see how to instant kill Freya with MP Damage Skills because her MP are way to many for the code. :)

I think that even little things are welcome here. :)
Oh, i remember one glitch:
Its about Tales of Destiny 2 (i guess...) and with a special movement of the cursor, you can unlock all skills and spells of one character but i think you need something else to do this...
In a (bad) game of soccer, ISS64, I was playing with my brother... And made my player shot at the goal. The goalkeeper dived, saved the ball which returned on the legs of the same player, who I made shoot again, at the other side... And the goalkeeper literraly teleported himself and caught the ball at the other side of the goal!
ISS64 could do instant replays, so I immediatly put it on and watched the action... And we could REALLY see the goalkeeper who was on the floor after the first shoot disappear from his place to reappear in front of the ball he caught! I was *really* astonished O_O
(But I won the match XD)

The conversion of Snk games for Snes made by Takara, or the conversion of MK3 & MK3U for the Snes, are full of bug
