This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I don't really like electronic music too much, although I do like some house music. If I wanna dance I listen to Ska and Bob Marley type stuff 'cus it's good for skanking.

Whoa! Thanks for this thread. I was just looking for techno artists and was wondering with ones were good, I've tried Andy Hunter and Tony Foxx but I think i'm more of a purist when it comes to this kind of music. *looks up all the artists posted previously* :)

I used to be really big on trance. I still like it, but only in small doses now. I think I'm starting to like electro and house a little more.

Definitely the best music after reggae if you ask me, with reggae and electronic music i get all of both feelings with reggae i can get really relaxed and think and with electronic i get really hyper and start doing things like really fast (not really good when i need to think about what i'm doing like writing or something like that but if it's work that i have memorized it's the best it makes me work faster)
i think it's one of the best inventions of mankind after reggae, anime and twinkies :)

I enjoy alot of trance/techno/rave/dance/house/electro/etc but I find that I usually like no more than 2 songs per artist. Of course there are exceptions to that such as Daft Punk, MSTRKRFT, Justice, Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclair, David Guetta, Tiesto, but those are just a few in the list of so many

Cool! I love electro music. I'm into electro gothic, and some darkwave but most from japan. I dunno If you have heard Schwarz Stein, Rudolf Steiner or Kaya and Hora. I love their music from the very begining. I like blutengel, as european darkwave music.

On the other hand, I love Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Fangoria, and everything electro from the 70s and 80s. Synthesizers are the best thing ever made, and I love artists like Yazoo, they make great music.

I'm a big PVD fan; I got many of his cd's and listening to them for hours on end. His latest album: "In Between" is simply phenomenal! Some of the other big name dj's I like include: Misja Helsloot, Thrill Seekers, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Robert Gitelman, and many others.

Recently I began gaining an interest in Markus Schulz, another recognizable trance artist. This youtube video of him: youtube vid
stirred my interest in his music.

I only recently started listening to this type of music so I don't have much at the moment, but one of my favourites is Nathan Prophet. His latest album; Digital Existence, is amazing.

It's spring now and you know what that means: Live DJ Performances!

Pete Tong will be doing Pure Pacha in like, late May again. 12 weeks there as well as some trips to the Ibiza, he's gonna always have his best stuff rolling.

Ya, I also just got into this kind of music. I really don't have any favorite DJs at the moment but I've been listening to a lot of songs on youtube here and there. Also I'm not sure if this is a branch off of trance/electronica, but I've kinda been getting into Hardstyle as well.

I listen to a lot of dance & trance, more so than the mainstream music nowadays. The artists are very various, from well known (such as Cascada) to little known, depending on where I've heard it from. Here in Chicago, we have our own dance station (called Dance Factory), and that's mostly where I get my collection from. Other places are from anime music videos that uses trance/dance music (such as this year's video of the year, Magic Pad, which uses the trance song Arise (Hammer & Funabashi Remix)).

I'm not sure of if this might be put under electronica, but i discovered a band named pitchshifter just a while ago... they use a lot of electronics in their music... which is done a lot in the late years... get a lot of it even in guano apes, if you listen carefully... or the dillinger escape plan... and many more... love it when it's used that way...

after starting learning some soft synths, I've actually seen myself going from one genre to any... as I was listening to some metal and such before, I find myself listening to Seal, Madonna, t.a.t.u... Gwen... any of those, and I really like them...

remember I used to think that all of this is trash, some years ago... well, guess it was just a stupid idea caught from the friends i hung out with... they didn't like it, then i couldn't possibly either... now I do... the best thing about it is to create it... too bad it took me so long to figure that out... I could be much smarter in that area if i had discovered that out sooner, hehe...
