I'd watch the second season... I didn't know another was coming out.
Well I think this ending is somehow "kyoto-animation-ish"...They usually avoid depressing atomsphere.
And though the ending is not quite impressive, it's acceptable for the series.

I think Clannad ends too fast. After Story is what I expected most.
The only thing i didn't like is how he asked her out, it could have been in a better sense i'm also disappointed in how Fuko turned into a random appearing magical girl they should have made her wake up from her coma and rebegin her friendship with everyone
I liked that they finally got together, but ... WHERE WAS THE KISS !? I'M SO DISMAYED THEY DIDN'T KISH !!!

I think it has a great Ending including the OVA but at last imiss the Kiss.
I would say it was more about Friendship and Love since the story is more about the girls wich fall for him.

There was a Clannad movie that more or less continued the story a bit...
But it was horrible. The artwork and whimsicality that makes Clannad such a good anime is basically all gone.

The movie was alright and I learned more about the story from it. It's true that it wasn't as good as the anime and some parts were totally different from the anime such as the dreams Tomoyo has. The new season goes into more detail about Tomoyo's and Nagisa's life after high school, and I can't wait for it. Should be interesting.

It was a good one, but i was quite suprised as i was told it had more than 9 episodes, because episode 9 would have made a nice ending, too!!^^
