I brought my 64 with me to college, and I still get people walking in my dorm room going "Smash?" all the time; it's pretty funny. A guy I knew let me borrow his Wii then moved away without notice, so I'm going to pick up Brawl when it comes out, XD.
I played SSB on my PC but I was really addicted to it. Great game even I'm not a big Nintendo fan.

I agree, SSB is the game that got me to appreciate the N64 and Gamecube. I not a fan of everything Nintendo, but it seems to me that even if brawl is just an updated version of melee it will still be awesome. What pushed me into buying a Wii was the Announcement of Sonic in Brawl. Let the Mario versus Sonic wars begin!
I'm a Peach player. :3 My strategy with her is win. When Brawl comes out I intend to continue using her, but I'll try out the new characters as well. :D

Smash bros is one of the best made games ever. My fav char for melee is roy and marth, something about using a swordsmen is just so appealing. I can't wait for the brawl to come come out. It's great that marth is included, hopefully roy will be included as well. Only a few more weeks to wait for the release.
Best characters, pikachu and pichu! just run around throwing stuff and when the percentage gets high enough THUNDERBOLT! knocks everyone out. hahaha its so cheap and effective. too bad i dont think hes in this one, they just have "ash"(i know its pokemon trainer but it looks like him so there)

Yeah, it's fun. I'm looking forward to the next one especially.
I've played both the original and Melee. In Melee, my favorite character is Pichu, if not, then Kirby. It's great watching people's faces when they get pwned by such small characters. :P
Omg, I can't wait for it to come out! I'm so mad that it got pushed to march when we should have had it now. >:O but I'll have to learn patience because I'm really hyped for this game! I don't really know who I want to play! ahhhh. X_X
I remember the old super smash brothers for N64, and game cube, those were old school, and very nice, then when wii came out, and I've seen what people do with the remotes...well that wasn't something to catch my interest.
Super smash brothers is an amazing game, but I've not like the wii game - control system, as it's far too loose, and it doesn't provide the proper game experience.
I think it would be more fun if we could use the old controllers for the wii, but then the whole concept of it wouldn't be there.
Also are the SSB tournaments like for the ones on game cube?

Tsk tsk. It's fine if you don't like Mario games, but this one is defintely not a " Mario game," let alone just Mario in it. This is Super Smash Bros series. Not only Mario gets represented but many other characters from their franchises gets represented as well, like Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Samus, Donkey Kong, Fox, and many more. Besides, this is game is quite fun and addicting, so you should give it a go. ;)

I usually use quick characters like Fox or Sheik to run into range and place a quick attack before I move back swiftly so I can counter with a power attack as they finish their own attack.
I love SSBM and was first exposed to it at..five I think, the Nintendo 64 version. I didn't really get why pokemon was with Mario and didn't give it another thought til I was 8. I played it at my friend's house for a couple of hours, and got him to lend it to me :D
Then eventually I got it on gamecube and played it, obsessively, for a number of days. It sort've died out on me, but I still love playing it for awhile every now and then.

Brawl's awesome. Too bad it got delayed till March9th though, but i was kinda expecting it to get delayed. Neewayz, it'll own when it comes out
