Dragonball Z Burst Limit
I played the Demo from the xbox live arcade , and the game is soooo awesome , the only demo i played more then once .. heck everyday
The graphics are to die for the the fighting system is old budokai style which is a plus for me , Tenkaichi was too easy for me , im still undefeated .. ever to this day in Tenkaichi
Though some people didnt like the cut scenes during the demo , its story mode so im sure those cut scenese are part of an xbox 360 achievement , either way , i cant wait for this game , anyone have any thoughts on this as well , good or bad doesnt matter :]

Certain aspects I didn't like, like the censoring.
The graphics are a improvement, but I wouldn't say that they are stellar. The game looks great, but I was hoping for more destructible environments. What I also didn't like is that I had no idea really what I was doing. Granted, I had a general idea about the controls, but at the most certain things I was doing more of at random with no help from the game.
On the positive, everything plays smoothly and I'm rather impressed on the overall. This will definitely be a title I pick up, but I'm debating if I'll buy it brand new or not. I will be honest, I'm disappointed that when the full game is released, it will only go through the Cell saga. Seriously, the series is being leeched enough as is, why do we have to have to wait for a second game with the technology we have today?

It's Dragon Ball Z. Those words never enter my household.
I played the demo. Meh they are fun games.
I played all 3 Budokai and never got the next two. I might just pick up the last one with all the many different fighters.
I would hate to start over again like this does.

yeh i do hate that they only go up to a certain season leaving alot of favorite characters out ,but we all know its because of the money , its most likely going to be like Budokai and Tenkaichi , coming in a set of 3 games

I understand what you mean there but as someone put to me when I raised this question up myself, that would extra time developing such little things which they're only going to use once. You're not going to see a hole in Goku later on in the game and you're not going to play or see an armless Piccolo again so it would be a waste of development.

I couldn't agree more about the controls. Whilst they give you a basic layout of what they are, you still have no clue as to what does what so for pretty much throughout your first couple of battles you're playing by smashing random buttons together. This is the first time ever that I would say I would have liked a tutorial of some sort to help figure out how to play this game well.
Graphics-wise, I think this game is absolutely amazing and you won't see anything as pretty as this for a while in terms of anime-based gaming. Though I do miss destructible evironments as it isn't really DBZ if you can't blow up a portion of the world with a Kamekameha, also I do miss the Ultimate Finish cutscenes. There was a nice rewarding feeling when you pulled off an Ultimate Finish and you would see your character pretty much blast everything and everyone away with the finish. It was in Budokai 3 so I'm not sure why it's not in this game. Even the Tenkaichi series had some sort of mini-cutscene for Ultimates.

I have no idea why they pushed this out when it only goes towards the end of the Cell Saga especially considering most fan favorite transformations happened in the Buu Saga. Gotenks, Vegito, SSJ3 Goku, Majin Vegeta, etc. I'm going to try and master the game's control system first before tackling the issue of whether to buy it brand new or not. Personally I think this game sets its basis too heavy on that Shin Budokai game which was fun-ish but it was something that wasn't as fun as the strongholds of the DBZ gaming series, Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi.
Damn, Xbox? :( I dont have that one and dont have intentions to buy it. But if it comes for Ps3 then i'm gonna play it some day. I love the Budokai games. Budokai 3 is my favourite. And for your description is seems that its an incredible game, i cant wait to see it.
Il definately be picking this up. Im actually really glad that it will only go up to the cell saga, definately the best saga of the entire series. I guess its dissapointing that there wont be the usual huge array of characters but i can get over that, i usually only use about 4 different characters anyway.

Yeh , i know Broly will be in it from gameplay vids , which gives us hope for unlockable characters , hopefully they'll bring in Future Gohan in this one , it would make more sense since there going up to Cell Saga and Future Gohan comes from Future Trunks timeline movie

I love the Dragonball Z games, I'm so going to get this~
Spudsy, if you don't like DBZ then you have no business being in this topic at all if all you're going to do is bash on it. You can't honestly say it's "overdone" unless you've played it. So when you've played Burst Limit THEN you can come in here and say you don't like it, otherwise, there's no need at all to be so rude to us DBZ fans.
I loved DB and DBZ. And the games, quite frankly, are great, and I'll keep buying them no matter how many they make. xD

I wasn't thinking like that @__@ That makes perfect sense as to why they did that then. It would be a rather big waste, but I guess I'm a sucker for keeping things close to the original, but at least they've got the right English VA's XD.
I do agree that if you aren't a fan of the series, you aren't going to like the games. Yes, they have 'milked' them, but they are rather decent fighting games on the whole and from the few I've played, I have greatly enjoyed the experience. I'm looking forward to Burst Limit simply because it's taking it to the next step.
WmagnusBut if it comes for Ps3 then i'm gonna play it some day.
Your day has arrived! Go download the demo on PSN.

Ahem to that , unless your a true DBZ fan , then these games wont appeal to you , but theres some different to this .... ONLINE PLAY 8D which im really looking forward to
i dont count Tenkaichi for the Wii , fighting wasnt the same using a Wii Remote
She has a point there, Spudsy. We know you don't like it so you don't have to keep advertising your dislike for it. We like it, we buy the games and if that's wrong, well, that's our problem. If there was an Ikkitousen topic, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate us going into the topic and saying that show is for people who like senseless violence, panty shots and a ton of ecchi fanservice.
Enough about that, Burst Limit is great fun after mastering the controls. I shall take you all on with Mirai Trunks! HAHAHA! And like Bern, I'll probably buy every one they make. XD
