STUDY

I never study ... can't even recall the last time I attempted to, I get to distracted at home by other things ... such as this forum ... even though i don't study, I feel as though I should ... when I arrive at school not having completed the homework or read a certain part of a text there is definetley a sense of GUILT !!
I don't want to talk about studying when I can talk about anime. =D
But...I will glance through my notes and stuff; I feel that reviews in class, homework and such is enough for me to get the material down.
If I feel that I don't know something, I quick ask a teacher, and that solves that.

I like studying at times. Such as studying PS or Algebra. I don't like studying all the time though. One does need a break after a whole day of school.

I used to study a lot in middle school especially in english class where every weeks the teacher gave new vocab list and I had to make sentences and do bunches of worksheets on the new vocabularies. But in college, I tend to study at the last minutes or so since I don't like to study a head of time and don't have anything to do when I am at school.

I study when i can. normally i only study hard subjects. otherwise, no just for cramming. ^_~ i study very rarely but i'm smart anyway. :) i think studying isn;t all that important-- that it;s listening that matters. i think all you have to do is listen to your teachers and you'll be fine.

I'm a senior in college who learned too late how to study. Study should be done frequently in small portions. You learn better in class, so that you don't need to struggle to understand stuff right before the test. There's no need to cram if you're constantly prepared. Might as well get the work out of the way early instead of panicking at the end.
Highschool is easy, so I never learned how to study. I didn't need to. I definitely need lots of study in college.
Here's the thing, are we getting As? I'm not talking A-s and B+s, I mean As? If not, we need to study. I've seen some damned stupid kids gets straight As because they put a large amount of time into study. We shouldn't settle for less than an A.
All those adults telling us young folk to study aren't pulling this advice out of the air, they know that if you aren't getting As, studying is what makes it happen. They've been there and know better than us.

This is very true... its my first year in University, I'm currently cramming for half my courses. The other half I actually listened in class due to assignments/labs. So next term I'll be sure to make some improvements =_=.. it really makes a huge difference.
Same opinion for high school... my teachers were major slacks though. I didn't even finish learning the entire course for chemistry.
I just try to pay attention every minute in the class, and so i don't have to study much in home, only read for about 15-30 minutes for the next class and so on. if you study for long hours you just get tired, that's what i think.
I study casually. If I don't know the material I spend a lot of time just getting it through my head.

I study, i spent half an hour reviewing a few days before the test and then the night before it i cram for a couple hours

i now learn this. all through middle school i would cram. the classes were just really easy. but now in high school its totally different for me. i have to study in order to pass of course. cramming doesnt work. when its for a vocabulary test then yeah i study it the night before but thats because of how easy it is to memorize it. with stuff like history and science. its best to study little by little so you wouldnt have to study EVERYTHING all at once at the last minute. anyways i learned that since i didnt study for a history test and got my first F on a test.
I use to feel guilt.. but that was back in the days where the teacher actually bust your butt for
not doing hw or not reading or something... college is too laid back. i always know i should
be studying.. one way or another. but i never do. hence.. i pretty much have to study
my butt of at the end of every quarter just to make up for my slacking...
i'd do it any day.. XDDD just no studying please
