bye bro! Mom, I just felt like it.
So, GD, last night I put makeup and clothing on at a time when mom was supposed to be sleeping. She caught me and I got grounded, but I just felt like it. Today the grounding was repealed after there was proof that I wasn't sneaking out or putting my photo online.
But is it fair that I got locked in my room? I was wondering if you've ever gotten grounded for something rediculous.

Sooo here's the answer to your question. If you're asian and under 13, yes it is fair. Cuz asian parents are just plain old fashion. If you're not asian and you're lets say.... 18 years old, then I think it would be rediculous to get grounded for that. It really depends on your age I think. I say 16 years old or above it would be okay to have make up. If you're 13, well as long as its just for experimental uses. If you're planning on going to school or taking pictures of yourself with make up on, I wouldn't approve myself. Unless if there was a special event going on. Parents are just overprotective because they're scared that they're child will become out of control. Its like taming a beast while its still young. Once it grows up and becomes super strong, if it didn't have good parenting it can overpower the parents.

When growing up with my older sis everything was unfair to me. Most the stuff i get grounded for i have it coming.
I got grounded for every single thing I ever did wrong. . . usually 30-60 minutes in my room. And just 2 years ago, whenever I did something wrong my parents would unplug the network cable from my computer and I couldn't access the net.

When I was growing up I had nod discapline at all, the concept of these petty rules you speak of dumbfound me. I had no boundaries really and I turned out fine (bar dropping out of school, though I did return). What I think is a more prevalent neccessity is not discapline but thorogh talks from parents, explaining their thoughts and feelings about whatever it is they were originally trying to place.

Like: My cellphone is took away from me, I am not allowed to use the net (but i am here now? o.O), I should not and couldn't (but I do still) get out of the house and hang out with friends, I was told to break up with my guy, and the worst thing that happened to me was: I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY IN MY BAND.

I usually don’t get grounded coz I am a good girl. Nope just kidding I am just like all other people. But I try my best to be good. If things get outta hand sometimes then my parents stop me from using the net which lasts like for only a few hours or a day which is maximum. My punishments don’t last that long.

Nah, I never got grounded before, but if my mom gets me angry, then I can be pretty rude at those times ^^
Heh... never got grounded before, but that doesn't mean i'm a good guy, i've gotten in heated arguements with my parents, i've sworn profanities at my mom before. uh huh... i'm bad... =P
Well, i do have my reasons though... i don't have a strong relation with my mom... mainly coz i really really hate it how she blames everything that goes wrong on me, even though it wasn't my fault. E.g. her precious comb breaking. What did that have to do with me? and yes, i took a beating for it. i'm a troubled guy

Grounded? My parents don’t even know what that is. I’m not usually a rule breaker; I’ll do what I’m told to do. I do sometimes get into fights with my younger sibling, but not even that is very often, it use to be physical, but now it’s verbal! My mum encourages me to put on makeup and go out with my friends more often. But I tend not too. But I’ve never been grounded ever before!
I have L's stamp of approval for me to have 3 sugar cubes in my tea~

I'm usualy a good girl :p but i do ocassionally get blamed for things i didnt do. only ever got grounded once for barely passing my chinese test (i'm not really good at remembering chinese characters) if that counts as ridiculous :(
