This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Well, this discussion wont go anywhere unless you will be more specific :).
Anyway i guess i will start. At the moment i am re-reading whole Harry Potter series as i find the books pretty interesting and mysterious (even though i know what would happen and when). And of course for those who didn't read it, i would recommend at least giving it a try, i think you won't be disappointed with the books.

However i am slightly interested in ordering "Imagining the Tenth Dimension" - a book by Rob Bryanton.

Books!! I would recommend ::

Tales of the Otori - Lian Hearn
Set in Ancient Japan, lovely book, with a unique storyline, really give it a try!! >_<
The Magicians' Guild - Trudi Canavan
His Dark Material's - Philip Pullman
Alex Rider Series - Anthony Horowitz
That's all of the series I can remember for now! ^_^

Well, i definitely read manga. But as far as books go, I read a lot about the history and culture of feudal japan, science books(like Brian Green's The Elegant Universe), and Sci-Fi/Fantasy. I am about to start a book By Haruki Murakami called "Hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world". But as far as authors go, Michael Crichton is my favorite by far.

I'm interested in action books.. missions.. stuff like that.
My fave book is a book by Charlie Higson called 'Double Or Die' it's about the young James Bond and gripped me instantly. i also like all the books from Anthony Horowitz! Of course, the fave book would definately be manga =D

ShaggyM, the 20 years later chapter definitely left behind many unrevealed mysteries.. . Actually i am a bit disappointed in the last chapter, because i though that Jo would tell us more about the heroes lives. Well.. we cant have everything i guess :). Anyway Jo did say that she will be writing another book, after a little or huge break (we can only guess), and write more about their lives after Voldemort have died.. . Cant wait!
