But not any kind of guns will do. I like sniper guns better.
Woo... Thinking I'm now waiting in the 6th floor of a shady building across the street.
My hand already sweating on the handle. My eyes ready on the scope.
Then, the target appear. I follow the target with my scope. My finger move to the trigger. Then... Bang.
I quickly pack all my equipment. Disappearing from the site.
Another job well done today. Maybe I could have a cup of coffee before I go.

I like swords better o.o dunno why but they look a lot more neato than guns.
It really depends on the situation. Swords are cooler because you get to fight with style (mostly twin blades XD). ;) Nowadays though, I would prefer guns for far range battles and it is a very common weapon. (so boring though, you just aim and shoot!)

A gun would of course win against a gun in many situations. but using it is just cowardly.
the way of the sword is the more honourful (and obviously the cooler one).

Swords are cool, but i think guns are cooler. When I thought about this, first thing in my mind was Dante. He has both XD But his gun fighting was awesome, even though his sword was stronger. So I would have to go with guns, especially in these times.

Great to hear this, I would definitely prefer a sword if I could use it. Under or above 26 feets. Nowadays in many situations actually we would say that the task has greater importance than the style, at least if we couldn't do it in a stylish way... I feel like lack of culture and normal behaviour... Swords are still beautiful and great to hear that they are still useful actually.
Yes..i also like swords..maybe since i had saw the Final Fantasy Advert Children tat movie..i love tat sword so much!!

I'd choose a gun to protect myself, but since we're in an anime forum, I take it that the question is "Which is more cooler, a gun or knife, in an anime?" In that case, I'd pick the knife. It seems to require more skill!

Persoinally don't like weapons but in video games swords are more elegant (Masamune, Sephiroth's sword) and cool (Cloiuds sword), can't denny that some guns are so cool (Dantes, Vincents), but like more swords specially Japnese swords.
How about Gunblades like in FF8? ^_^ They are both cool ofcourse. So to make something even better, it should be two-in-one, don't you agree? ^^
But I think seeing swordsmanship looks way cooler, there might be some art in swordsmanship, something that doesn't come along with guns. In anime they both always look cool so...

I personally collect blades of all types, but firearms interest me as well. If I had to choose I suppose I would go with blades.

AmrodAs much as I like swords and blades for their beauty and skill required to use them, in today's world I'd prefer a gun by far. Guns are simply superior to swords when it comes to power, quickness and effectiveness.
I agree with you to an extent here. How ever you said effectiveness. I agree that guns may be more combat oriented, however i beleive a sword is more effective. For example every day you may here someone is in critical condition because the have been shot. I beleive if you figthing with a sword, its a good chance your opponent will be dead. I mean if i where figthing with a sword i'd make sure my enemy would be dead. If i where using a gun this would mean first off i am afraid of whomever im trying to kill and im going to try to kill them from a distance. I guess im saying is a sword is a more effective way to kill someone when it comes right down to it because you are much more careful when you handle a sword than a gun.
