bye bro! Ever got freaked out by Cosplayers?
You know there are some cosplayers that dress good, but there are many out there I have seen that are terrible and disturbing. For one thing I see very fat male otakus dress as girl anime characters that really disturb me ~_~; ugh... Why the heck do they do that? Don't they have any dignity or shame? They also sometime do it in groups or pairs with male charaters that seem very yaoi @_@. Then they put there cosplay pics in the internet, like they never had embarassment before.
From what I have seen from American's who cosplay as anime character's they are very bad at it. They don't really look that great. Japanese cosplayers look much more beautiful and cool compared to there American counterparts.
This is my opinion of course. If you want to defend American cosplayers then bring a very good looking Cosplay picture, no nudity of course, male or female.

Last time when I went to AX, I saw the Male Faye. I was freaked out and didn't want to look at it. However, after reading the interview he had with animenewsnetwork, I was totally amazed why he did that.
Manfaye visited AX for several years now... i'm quite surprised this year that he was "removed" from the convention by the police for indecent exposure... i knew people had problems but this was new...

Ah... I was totally freaked out!!!! I can't stand looking at it!! Indonesian cosplayers are BADXXXD! But Japaneese girls that are pretty, and beautiful just look fine if their cosplaying. And I really hate male-cosplayers!! It's annoying!

I agree with Xday11...sometimes they are abit too much as in over-exposing and also encourage yaoi picture (whereby they pretend to kiss) infront of so many ppl...Maybe i'm too conservative but have they ever think of the pride of ALL anime fans?? They not just embarassed themselves, but oso other anime-fans..and worse of all...other cosplayers as well >_<

Agreed. Actually, I only looked at Japanese cosplayers... If I found/saw other than Japanese cosplayer (pix), I'd closed my eyes and leave that websites at once... I couldn't stand them. And no offence to all cosplayers out there. I know there's a good cosplayer (other than Japanese. I won't say just American...), but thanks to that Male Faye I really HATE non-Japanese cosplayers.. My eyes hurt... Uhhhhhh

Oh man, cosplayers almost always freak me out, I mean anime characters are drawn to be perfect and beautiful and unobtainably awesome, so dressing up to actually look like them is nearly impossible. The most horrifying example I can think of at the moment was a guy dressing up like Bridgette from Guilty Gear X2, that...was painful.

I've seen some pretty good ones, but i've also seen pictures of horrible ones>.<
it is disturbing when a guy dresses up as a girl and acts strangely.
it also ruins the animes when a person exposes too much of themselves (like the butt guy Xday11 mentioned).

I saw a Man-Chii once.
At first I thought it was just another Chii cosplayer. The costume itself was great, a nicely detailed dress with a well-combed, shiny wig, but when I got close enough to see the face I suddenly realized: "Oh my god there is an extremely ugly man in that thing."
Other than that, I've been rather lucky, as I haven't seen many other very bad cosplayers. I've seen a few great ones, even. One was a girl dressed up as some video game character, I don't know which,with something that looked like wings made out of a gate on her back, very well done. Another one was somebody (I couldn't really tell if it was a boy or girl!) cosplaying as Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh, and somehow managing to avoid that 'over-gelled" look yet still pulling of the hair very nicely.

Yey cosplay is great i love it but sometimes it can be a little scary @_@ or a lot
i have seen the boy faye it alwais makes me laug hahaha (so funni) i think that there are some good american cosplay the las comic con i went to i saw a seshomaru (it was a girl and a short one) but it was good... and i saw a degiko her outfit was beautifull but i dint see her face...
i have seen an italian girl cosplay and she is reali beautifull
and i kinda get freakd out when boys cosplay as girls (boys are so cute dond copslay as girls) but i dont mind when girls cosplay as boys (it sometimes loks reali good)
wel i reali want to cosplay but i´m afraid i´m part of the peopel that just jud not cosply (so sad Q_Q)
