This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

These are three new browser. All of them has the tabbed browsing feature. Opera has the Widgets, the Firefox has many plugins, and Internet Explorer has a new look(like Vista) and improved speed. Opera and Firefox have antiPhissing filter, and Forefox itself has News Reader.

For me, I prefer Opera, because it has a great internet speed, not like the Firefox and IE, and it's widgets are very helpfull for me. :) But I love the Firefox too, because it has a plugin that can download videos from Google Videos and YouTube.

Now which one do you prefer and why?

FF FTw. Extensions are the main reason. I surf the web practically ad-free, pop-up free, with an irc client open(not mirc but tied into FF). When i search google i get thumbnails, i get the opera sidebar(it hides), fasterfox so i surf faster, broadband speed tests for when i need them, i can change it to run FF engine for when a site doesn't display because it needs IE, i minimize my FF to my tray, the same tabs open everytime i start FF, ect, ect. It just in short makes a nicer experience surfing the web.
Though i used opera for a lttle bit there because i eed an irc client and i hadn' found the FF extension, it has good smooth scrollling

In my mind, Internet Explorer automatically loses due to horrendous security and technical incapability and always will, no matter what the version. IE will always be horribly insecure unless they just ditch the entire IE codebase and start from scratch. And seriously, what self-respecting browser DOESN'T support PNG transparency properly these days? Even the browser included with BeOS that was programmed close to 6 years ago now supports them!!

Firefox has great security and great features, and it renders most sites beautifully, but the Firefox team needs to proceed with caution; they have reached the point where FF will become slow bloatware (much like the original Mozilla) if they aren't careful. Although it could stand a change or two, FF's interface is pretty good too.

Opera has most of the same winning points that Firefox does, but one things brings down its score: its interface. It uses some concepts and odd design in general, which while not necessarily bad, would be confusing for someone switching from IE or another browser.

So for me, the winner is Mozilla Firefox.

IE is slow catching on, I've downloaded Opera but maybe I'm biased, I strongly prefer Firefox or even Flock (FF copycat). FF is great in customizing, it's open-source, which I strongly support open-source software, the additions a excellent, no more ads, script control, and I can do other things on this browser. I hardly use IE at all. What is a widget?

From all of these, Internet Explorer is the worst. :) Maybe it's a very great potential of Firefox to have so many plugins and especially the additional anti phissing tool. :)

I prefer Firefox overall mainly since I'm most familiar with it. It sports all the features I need, while not being too harsh on memory. I might have used IE 7 if it didn't continue IE's trend of overall bugginess and memory-leaking (seems like it doesn't like releasing any memory until closing and simply continues to claim more as I open pages). I would recommend Opera equally as much as Firefox, though I'm simply not as familiar with it.

I liked the older FF, but 2.0 isn't as good. IE7 on the other hand got a bit better, it's a little bit faster than FF now as well. But I'm using both right now since I like the add ons for FF. I still can't really make up my mind on which one I like best.. heh

Firefox is the good browser that can handle both Windows and Linux platform, it can be called cheap and powerfull browser because it can be installed in non genuine Windows(Internet Explorer 7 has to execute Windows Genuine Validation before it's installation progress, that's the bad point of IE because I have no a Genuine Windows @_@). And the Opera is in the middle, it can be installed in Windows too, but it can't be installed in Linux(as long I know @_@), but it has a fastest internet accelerator, better than both two(I've tried the Internet Explorer 7 in my Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 and I have Firefox 2 itself). :)

It does indeed support Linux.

Ow, thanks, it's been a long time I've never checked the website of Opera, I usually download the newest version of Opera from it's Automatic Updates. Thanks. :)

I use Safari, but out of those three choices, I'd have to go with firefox, it's pretty good!

There's no Windows version... you can get an idea of how it renders things by installing KDE Konqueror in Linux and imagine what you see with a much better text rendering system, though. That's what Safari is like.
